If you opt for a Saturday or Sunday tour, stop at the German Tourist Club in the middle of the woods, where you can rest up after your hike with a stein of beer among the scenery. If you want to make a day out of your visit to Marin County, consider tacking on a trip to Sausalito to your adventure.

Unfortunately it started raining as we were getting to Muir Woods but Hugo provided us with umbrellas. He got us to Muir Woods before a lot of the big busses/crowds started which was great!
