About Monterey and Carmel Tour
If the chance to drive down coastal Highway 1 isn’t enough reason to escape San Francisco for a day, then stopping in Monterey or Carmel should be. This company’s bus tours take you on a full-day tour of the peninsula, and offer personalized stops and narration to cater to people who might not usually chose a group bus tour. You’ll drive around Monterey Bay’s sandy white beaches, visit the exquisite shops and galleries along Cannery Row, see where the pros golf at Pebble Beach, visit the famous 250-year-old Lone Cypress Tree, and stroll through the posh boutiques in picturesque Carmel-by-the-Sea, then return to the city through historic inland towns.
Review
Mike was knowledgeable, patient, gave excellent advice… Simply great... on the Monterey & Carmel trip, he had the excellent idea to do Carmel first & spend more time there. Definitely the right thing to do—Carmel is a charming town and we spent a nice 2 hour lunch enjoying the beach.
