If you want to nerd out on science but can’t decide how, come here: it's the only place on earth to combine an aquarium, a planetarium, a natural history museum, and a four-story rainforest all under one roof. Its extraordinary living roof is made up of seven undulating plant-covered “hills.” The largest of these domes houses the biggest all-digital planetarium in the world, which uses real-time data from NASA. If it’s animals you’re after, see what it feels like to come face-to-face with a rare albino alligator wading in his swamp. Plus, meet a giant octopus, Amazonian piranhas, a colony of South African Penguins, and oh, 40,000 other animals. With so many options this place is popular, but you can get a head start on others by skipping the line.
Reviews
This museum, planetarium, and aquarium give you ALMOST too much to see. I went with my 7- and 4-year-old daughters, husband, and brother and we all enjoyed it. Even their cafeteria was worthwhile, who says that about a museum? I highly recommend.
