Wished it
This one-of-a-kind indoor and outdoor children’s museum is a pot of gold on the other side of the Golden Gate rainbow. Set on 7.5 acres in Sausalito, the organization works to inspire creativity and learning among children. Watch your kids get creative with the larger than life building blocks in the Imagination Playground or the crafts materials in the Arts Studios. They’ll spot creatures as they crawl through an underwater tunnel and play with trains in Bay Hall. At Lookout Cove, a 2.5-acre outdoor area that features mini icons of the Bay Area, they can pretend to be birds and climb into an oversized nest made of branches. The museum has hours of entertainment for little tykes, but kids over eight years old may find activities a little juvenile.
Reviews
This place is amazing! The location is incredible and I love the use of the old army base buildings. The exhibits and variety of things for the kids to do was outstanding. So outstanding, in fact, that we had to drag our toddler out of there! Lunch at the cafe was very tasty! I would highly recommend this place to anyone with younger children.
