Chinatown Walking Tour

Wished it
Old World meets New World in San Francisco’s Chinatown, the oldest in North America and the largest in the world. This tour company, which has led groups around the neighborhood for 30 years, hosts walking tours to give you a in-depth look at what’s here. You’ll step onto streets full of produce, shoppers bargaining in Cantonese or Mandarin, hanging red lanterns, and signs in Chinese characters. Admire pagoda-style buildings, browse goodies at an herbal pharmacy, sample freshly made fortune cookies, and explore the mysteries of Waverly Place, an alley of temples, private clubs, and secret societies. You can even tack on a dim sum lunch if you’d like.
Reviews
We saw many different parts of Chinatown and even got to hear a gentleman play a Chinese violin. Our tour ended with a dim sum lunch that was wonderful. It was a great way to spend our morning, we even got some good coffee packets at the herbal store that were much better than hotel room coffee!!
