Highlights
  • Caesarea National Park - The city of Caesarea was constructed under Herod and named after the Roman Emperor, Caesar. From what remains of the ancient city we can see that it was a prosperous and luxurious city. Among the archaeological excavations we can see gateways, a moat and well preserved walls and rooms. There is a perfectly preserved Roman amphitheater which is still used today for performances by Israeli and international artists. Next to the amphitheatre is part of what was once a hippodrome.

  • The Baha’i Gardens - We continue driving north passing through Haifa where we stop to see breathtaking Baha’i Shrine and gardens. The terraced gardens cascade down the mountain towards the city below, each of the 19 terraces bursts with colorful flowers and landscaped designs.

  • Rosh Hanikra - Our next stop is at Rosh HaNikra, the most northerly point along Israel’s Mediterranean coast. We descend by cable car into the network of limestone grottoes created by the constant bombardment of waves against the rocks.

  • The Lebanese Border - Visit and explore the Grottos at Rosh Hanikra

  • Acre - Visit the Old City of Acre

  • Citadel of Acre - We can see the Crusader remains, the prison used under Turkish rule and the gallows which were used under the British Mandate to hang Jews who broke the British law limiting Jewish immigration to Palestine following World War II.

Highly recommended tour and host - Joined this tour with my family last February, 2023. Rosh Hanikra was spectacular and the ruins of the Crusaders ( Templar Knights) in Acre/Akko is amazing. We had an excellent tour guide, Ms. Aviva, who made all these places doubly interesting with her depth of knowledge and insights on these places. She was also very kind and accommodating which enabled elderly familty members to enjoy the tour.

Amazed - Extremely satisfied with the level of knowledge of our tour guide Aaron Garcia!!! He’s the man! A walking encyclopedia!!! After 10 visits to Israel, used many other companies for daily tours never really had a connection of knowledge and spirituality and empathy like I had with Mr Garcia!!! I recommend his services 100%!!! Mark my words and you will thank me later. Shalom Flávia

Excellent day out on Israel’s north west coast - I have nothing but praise for this trip. The itinerary is excellently varied and our tour guide, Dane, and our driver Mohammed Abbasi were both wonderful and put a huge amount of effort into making it a wonderful day and well worth the money. I will definitely book another trip with Viator the next time I visit Jerusalem! And I will hope I get the same guide and driver.

Stunning views of the Sea - This was a very informative trip from Tel Aviv up the coast of Mediterranean Coastal line. Bring water, hat and good walking shoes! The Grottos were really cool and the one thing I wish we could have gotten in the water. It was hot! Tour guide was awesome and kept us moving!

Great trip! - Yaacov, (Jacob) was very knowledgeable. He a great tour of Caesarea, Haifa, Rosh Hanikra, and Akko. I loved the way he personalized everything he said, like the story of his Bar Mitzvah at the grotto in Rosh Hanikra. I would have given five stars, however, Yaacov spoke more in German that English. I ordered an English tour. The other problem was I requested a restaurant with kosher food and we were taken to a non kosher restaurant. This was a bit of a problem for me. Other than the negative two items, it was a fantastic tour!

Absolutely terrible. - I was so excited to take this tour on my last day in Isreal. I woke up at 5am to meet the tour bus, got to the pickup location early, and waited for 90 minutes. The bus never came. It was impossible to get any information from Trip Advisor or the local tour company, Click Tours, about what was happening. Finally, I reached someone that told me the driver got Covid and the tour was canceled. I don't believe this excuse (I was told the tour would sell out, so surely they have contingency plans) and further, no one contacted me. I had to call repeatedly to get this information. I'm heartbroken that I missed seeing this region.

Disgusting service - Operator was late. We combined with other tours and due to lateness they changed group split point and wanted me to change your. I declined. At a gas station meeting point I was put in a cab with 3 others which was uncomfortable. I queried the guide and he was rude. When we caught up to our tour it had already begun. I messaged the operator about the situation and he responded by calling me a liar 5 times in a very rude response indicating it wasn’t a private tour so nothing was wrong. When the tour ended we arrived back very late, were again out in a cab with a driver that did not speak English and couldn’t find our drop off points. I had to leave the cab and walk back in the dark arriving at my hotel at 850 pm after a 540 am meet. The last 3 weeks I have spent over$1000 on Viator tours and have had several minor issues but today was ridiculous and if your contract operators treat customers in this fashion I will never do business with Viator again
