Safe, Encouraging Environment, Wonderful Experience - I had already studied spanish in college in the USA, but I needed a full immersion style program and education from native speakers. I think full immersion is really the only proper way to learn a language, and Expanish does a wonderful job of providing that opportunity in a safe, fun environment while also really pushing their students. The most refreshing thing overall is that every student that you meet at the school is also there with a desire to learn, and the professors all do a great job of pushing the students to speak and teaching spoken colloquial spanish just as much as they teach the grammatical side of the language. I spent 6 weeks in the 30 hours intensive course, and I learned more than I ever did in 3 years of undergraduate studies. I had a great time, and I plan on taking online courses through Expanish to further my mission towards fluency.

Great place, great people, great experience - Learning the Spanish at Expanish was a great experience. Everything was well organized and really simple (took German Bildungszeit). The teachers and the staff were awesome. Everybody friendly and I have never met people so helpful! Just took a week, but I would rather recommend two. Spanish classes were a out using the language, i.e. conversations, while theory and grammar were less important. Exactly what I needed.

Incredible experience - I came to the school not being able to speak a word of spanish and left feeling confident in my ability to communicate with those around me. The school is incredibly helpful and tries to cater learning styles to each individual student. I had the most fantastic 6 weeks here and it has really sparked a love of Spanish. The school thinks of everything, offering multiple weekly activities and was incredibly understanding when I wanted to switch afternoon classes to private, helping accommodate as fast as they could.

AMAZING Spanish-language Immersion Experience - I traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina with my university to study the Spanish-language and to have an immersive experience in another city. Then, I found myself in the Expanish school for six weeks of classes. The first two weeks were a language-intensive class where I found myself accurately placed and challenged in class to speak in my second language, Spanish. I thought that the language-intensive class was a perfect blend of comprehensible output and challenges to improve my Spanish language. Then, I spent four weeks in an Argentine-literature class with Gabriel and Giselle, and I loved this course! Argentine literature and culture is so rich, and my professors used appropriate language for comprehensible understanding but yet still challenged! Overall, I had an amazing experience in this school, and I hope to return one day soon! Also, the amenities of Expanish were great, they always had a friendly staff, snack, and many cafecitos for the early classes. Lastly, I met many people from all over the world (specifically Brazil), which made my experience that much more awesome and culturally rich. I HIGHLY recommended for anyone searching for a language-immersion school in the beautiful city of Buenos Aires!

Very pleased - Soon after I arrived in Buenos Aires I decided to take Spanish lessons. I checked out two schools in the city and decided to go with Expanish. After the first week intensive 20-hour course, I signed up for a second week, intensive 30-hour. I am very pleased with the school and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to learn Spanish in Buenos Aires. I found the program very effective and the teachers (I had three of them) very professional. The school also organizes many extracurricular events, some of which I attended and much enjoyed. Finally, I had a great time with several of my fellow students, also outside of school hours. I will certainly continue the program when I return to Buenos Aires.

Would Highly Recommend - I studied here for two weeks to brush up on my Spanish before travelling and was surprised by how good the school was. The facilities were excellent and the staff very helpful and accommodating. I came alone but the school was very good for meeting other people my age. A special thanks to my teacher 'Pablito' who I couldn't speak of more highly. Gracias por todo!
