Family Trip in Buenos Aires - Julia was very knowledgeable and passionate about explaining the Afro-Argentine experience. This tour was perfect for my multigenerational family looking to explore the country’s history and learn about the African contributions while sightseeing in Buenos Aires.

A Deeper Dive Into Argentina's HIstory - I highly recommend this tour. As you walk through San Telmo and the oldest sections of the city of Buenos Aires, the guides point out touch points for the history of Afro-Argentinians from the enslaved peoples during the colonial to more recent immigrants to those Argentinians who have only recently discovered the depths of their heritage. They also touch on the numerous ways that Afro-Argentinians helped to build Argentina and Argentinian culture. Something I truly appreciated about the guide, Julia, was that she had a conversation with us - it wasn't a lecture - and throughout the tour, we were able to relate the experiences of Afro-Argentinians to the larger African diaspora in the Americas. Again, highly recommended.

A total must - It was amzing receiving so much information about black people role in Argentina's history that books and media has hidden. The guide was very generous and informed. Used many resources and took us to key points in the city where you were translated through words and images to the past. Everyone should have experience this journey.
