Additional Information

Take the opportunity to explore the most renowned and unique vineyard area in Hungary; in fact, it’s the oldest documented wine region across Europe. There are records indicating that the name ‘Tokaj’ - recognized as a distinct wine region - had been acknowledged long before other now-famous vineyard areas in Western Europe.

We’re Miklós and Dóri, and we’re both besotted with wine! Besides being a wine enthusiast, I, Miklós, also hold the titles of wine adjudicator and wine journalist and have been in this trade since 2005. My love for wine has taken me to the wine-growing areas of USA (Oregon), Italy, France, Spain, and Israel. I own a wine bar and had the previous title of retail director at Hungary’s second largest wine trading company. Dóri, having been born into a family of vintners in Pest county, had a significant role in the family business. Our love for wine is profound, but a full understanding of the field requires familiarity with the winemakers. And we’re privileged to know most of them personally. Sharing their stories with you is what makes this experience unforgettable.
