Don’t miss this fun outdoor activity - The facilities were excellent we had lockers for our clothes and a changing room which two of us fitted in . The hot baths inside were excellent and the pools outside were such a lot of fun, lots of of laughter and beautiful weather, one tip in the summer it’s exposed to full sun so cover up

Super - Szechenyi baths are super relaxing and satisfying. A nice part is, that you enter without a line, and get your private changing area.

Not a great experience - Unhelpful staff all round. Parts of the building and pools were closed/segregated off. Website didn't state you needed yo take your own, most venues you can hire them. Dint get our drink, that was included in the price. We cut our visit short, a very miserable experience

Just for the visit but nothing more - You better go and book it by yourself at the front desk..no reason to pay additional money for providers since it's so easy to book directly there. Not so satisfied by the facilities, too crowded and no organization, nobody explains you how the lockers or your ticket whats includes.. I should have with the ticket a drink and a private locker, nothing of those where valid. .so better you go alone with the cheaper ticket options because it doesn't worth for more, just to say you visit it

Very bad experience. - I was in Budapest with my family and we decided to go to the spa to spend a relaxing day. What can I say, the structure on the outside looks very scenic, a Baroque from the early 1900s. Once inside we show our ticket to the reception who gives us the classic bracelets for the lockers. There is no possibility to rent towels but only to buy them and no other service is included in the price. Cleared in a flash, they show us the way, the staff then takes us down a staircase where the changing rooms should be, here we immediately breathe a stagnant and unpleasant air. The directions are unclear and the staff is quite grumpy. The changing rooms leave no privacy, the bathrooms are very dirty and hygiene is almost non-existent. When we went out to the external baths, there was an overcrowding of people, as there is no limited number and anyone can enter by paying on the spot. Among annoying and drunk tourists, since there is the Birra spa and the constant whistling of the lifeguard, the climate is anything but relaxing. I therefore decide to enter the internal section where the show is absurd to say the least. Pieces of the ceiling that are peeling and end up in water, rusty and dirty showers, water from the tubs where hair and other dirt are floating, you also have to pay close attention to where you walk because there are holes and missing tiles on the floor. To conclude, no one checks that guests wash before accessing the thermal waters and in fact this contributes to poor hygiene. In the end, after less than an hour, I left without having even dipped a toe. I don't feel like recommending this experience.

Extremely disappointing - Unfortunately we won’t be going to the spa. Despite paying over £200 the confirmation came through for a different date to that we booked. We notified immediately. Several emails later, not willing to schedule when we intended to book, not willing to refund. It’s their policy — apparently. Exercise extreme caution when booking, the website is clunky to say the least and once you click confirm they’ve got your cash. Based on their version of customer service, I would be very wary of using this establishment.

Revolting cesspool. Save your money. - Disgusting. An absolute cesspool. Looks nothing like the pictures it’s really run down and dilapidated. The whole place smells like sweat and urine. Maybe if you like lane swimming it would be nice but just to go and hang out with friends is boring and I’ve never felt so unclean in my life. Left after 30 mins and will never be back. No idea if any of the other baths in the city are better but this one should be avoided. Ew!!!
