Additional Information

From the late 1700s to the mid-1900s, the Pest side boasted a thriving Jewish community, considered one of the best in the area. We will explore the relics of its history, commemorating the tragedy that nearly wiped it out, along with impressions of the community today.

One of my primary areas of expertise is the Jewish heritage and monuments in East-Central Europe. My travels have taken me to synagogues and Jewish cemeteries throughout the region in countries such as Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine, and Romania. Thus, offering a well-rounded perspective of Hungarian Jewish heritage.
