A must visit. - Yes, it is expensive, but the history and fate of the Hungarian Jews concerned and concerns us all. The reference to the main guilt of the Hungarian fascists is important for a German.

Stunning Synagogue-terrific tour guide - We visited the Dohány Street Synagogue during our stay in Budapest. Our fantastic guide, Milan (through Hidden Treasures) was incredibly knowledgeable. You could tell he loves his job and he was so informative and friendly. Milan spoke perfect English too-answering all of our questions. The synagogue is stunning and incredibly ornate. Although much of the tour and is emotive, the gardens and Memorial are calming and tranquil.

We recommend a tour with Milan - We were fortunate to be guided by Milan whose knowledge of the synagogue, city, country and region are second to none. He answered all of our questions and illuminated this historic building with personal stories and interesting anecdotes. A heart touching experience we’d recommend to anyone.

Good tour - Ildiko, a native of Budapest, provided an informative and insightful tour of the synagogue. She made the experience much richer than seeing it alone.

Just far too expensive to visit - Sorry understand the history but not worth the money . We paid just over £40 sterling and did not even get a tour guide .
