Perfect boat ride at dusk/early evening! - We did this river tour the first night we arrived at Budapest and it was wonderful to see all the landmarks we were planning to visit during our stay lit up at night and from the river side!

Go after sunset - Great after sunset when the lights come up. Audio guide was also clear and good. It wasn’t too crowded on the boat. Go after 7:30 for the best view. You can take tram 2 to get to the netting point. It isn’t cold because the boat is covered.

Amazing experience, bad audio guide - Very beautiful view (we went at night). All the buildings on each side of the river were lit up and reflected in the water. There's both an option to sit inside and outside. However, the audio guide was really weird and didn't really have an intro. It talked about buildings we couldn't see and very confusing.

Beautiful! - Amazing view! Definitely go at night, the skyline is incredible. We had a blast and the wine was good. Only complaint would be that they had glass surrounding the boat, which was a lot less enjoyable than being in the open air. Also ruined the view a bit because of the reflection of the lights inside the boat against the glass. However, they had some space out in the open at the back of the boat. Once we went there, easily became a 5 star experience. We recommend doing that.

Budapest night cruise - Budapest is absolutely stunning at night. It would have been great if this river cruise wasn’t closed in by glass. Outdoor seating was very limited but the experience was beautiful nonetheless. I would still recommend taking this tour!

Highly recommend - This was a great evening cruise. There was a history video and headsets available to follow along. The buildings lit up at night were beautiful to see. One suggestion for the company would be to have staff at the gang plank at the river’s edge. It was dark, not well lit with crowds of people disembarking and others waiting. We did not know 100% if we were at the right location or not (there are many boats there). We had to push our way to entry to get to the ticketing area. We already had tickets and lined up at the wrong spot. If someone was stationed on shore to acknowledge and direct people, that would have been very helpful. Overall highly recommend.

Great views, but it could be a better experience. - The sights were great. The reception area was really nice. The Queue to scan tickets was chaotic; beer/wine was poor quality; the video’s voice was incredibly boring; the boat crew were not welcoming, it felt very transactional.

A nice choice. - After checking lots of Budapest Danube river cruise options, I selected Legenda's Danube Sightseeing Evening Cruise and I think it was a good choice. Most of the dinner cruise options I found had iffey-reviews and had once thought of doing one of the Proscecco evening cruises I found but my daughter, who is studying in Budapest for the semester, had done that one with friends and told me its a "booze cruise not appropriate for her parents." ha ha! Anyway, the Legenda Danube Sightseeing Evening cruise was nice. A good value at 17E which included a free drink. The boats are nice and are designed to give you a very clean unobstructed view. Only thing I would STRONGLY recommend is to arrive for the cruise at least 30-45 minutes early so you can get your pick of seats. All of the seats are fine for view but the outside/rooftop seats will be regrettable if the weather isn't favorable. We got there 10 minutes before departure and there were only 2 inside seats left (not together) so I seated my wife & daughter there and headed up to the outside rooftop deck to settle in against a very chilly drizzle night thinking that I was really going to suffer. Miraculously, someone left so the wife scored an inside seat for me (not with them) and I was very comfortable. The included audio guide is well done and we had a good time. This is a touristy thing and is exactly what you'd expect but was an enjoyable and restful way to admire beautiful Budapest from the water at night. I'd recommend.

Quick tour, beautiful sights, too many people - It was a quick 1 hour boat tour of evening lights on the banks of Danube River. The drink was light and refreshing- but headphones were spotty at best- many did not work. The tour did not match the information- meaning if you were looking at the parliament building, the audio was completely off. Keep in mind this holds 100 plus people so our ride had rude loud kids and young adults pushing you out of the way to get their insta pictures. It was nice outside ride if you can escape the kids and the young adults on the top side.
