Qadisha Valley - Qadisha Valley is a significant site for the earliest Christian monasteries globally, with many ancient monasteries set in a remarkably rugged landscape. The valley includes all the caves, monasteries, and cultivated terraces linked to early Christian activities.

Bcharre - Bcharre is home to the last remaining original Cedars of God and is the birthplace of renowned poet, painter, and sculptor Khalil Jubran, who is honored with a museum in the town. Additionally, Bcharre hosts the oldest skiing area, the Cedars Ski Resort, and Lebanon’s first ski lift, built in 1953. The town is often referred to as “the city of churches” due to its 37 churches.

دير مار أنطونيوس الكبير قزحيا - الرهبانية اللبنانية المارونية - The Monastery of Saint Anthony the Great is located 950 meters above sea level in the famous Valley of Qozhaya. The surrounding hills are covered with pine and oak trees, and the valley is filled with various fruit trees, extending into the Valley of Qannubin to form the great Qadisha Valley. This area is a testament to the history of eremitic life and the pursuit of holiness in Lebanon. Historians believe the monastery was first built and inhabited by hermits in the early fourth century. Despite being looted, burned, and destroyed multiple times, remnants from the seventh century still exist.

The Cedars of God - The Forest of the Cedars of God, with its 375 trees, is the last remnant of ancient forests and one of the few places where Cedars still grow. Highly valued in ancient times, cedar wood was a prized construction material for significant religious buildings and is mentioned 103 times in the Bible. The Cedar is a national symbol of Lebanon, prominently featured on the Lebanese flag.

Baalbek - Baalbek is home to the Baalbek temple complex, which includes the grand Roman ruins of the Temple of Bacchus and the Temple of Jupiter. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1984, this Phoenician city was known as Heliopolis during the Hellenistic period and maintained its religious significance during Roman times, attracting thousands of pilgrims to the sanctuary of Heliopolitan Jupiter. Baalbek’s colossal structures are prime examples of Imperial Roman architecture at its peak.

Temples of Baalbek - The temple complex at Baalbek is situated at the foot of the southwest slope of Anti-Lebanon, bordering the fertile Bekaa plain at an altitude of 1150 meters. The city flourished during Roman times, with its monumental constructions built over more than two centuries, making it one of the most renowned sanctuaries of the Roman world and a model of Imperial Roman architecture. Pilgrims visited the sanctuary to venerate the Romanized Triad of Heliopolis, a Phoenician cult of Jupiter, Venus, and Bacchus.

Sayyida Khawla Shrine - The Mosque of Sayyida Khawla in Baalbek, Lebanon, is believed to be the burial site of Sayyida Khawla, the daughter of Imam al-Hussein, the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad. Locals believe that when the caravan of Karbala captives passed through Baalbek, Khawla passed away and was buried there.

Stone of the Pregnant Woman - The Stone of the Pregnant Woman is a Roman monolith in Baalbek, Lebanon. Along with another nearby ancient stone block, it is one of the largest monoliths ever quarried. These massive building blocks were likely intended for the nearby Roman temple complex and are notable for their unparalleled size in antiquity.
