Flavourful & fun! - My Lickrish Food Tour exceeded any expectations I thought I had! This was one of the best activity ideas on my very short yet very sweet solo trip to Barbados - getting a taste of a lot of delicious local favourites in as much time as I can. This venture was only made more fun & exciting thanks to my food tour guide Shari! Shari's knowledge of the island, its best-kept secret culinary locations, & passion for its different flavours felt like exploring & discovering with a friend - she was the best company! I would highly recommend this experience!

Great way to see the island. Come hungry! - This was such an excellent food tour! We had Shari as our guide and she had such genuine passion for Barbados, the food, educating us, and showing us a good time. She was very engaging, friendly, and outgoing. It was nice to have an AC cooled vehicle to come back to after walking around. This was a fun way to see the island and there was A LOT of food. We could not nearly finish it all so had to take some of our desserts home for later. I loved seeing the local market and shop where it looked like locals go fairly regularly for a snack or lunch, a small hidden restaurant, Oistins when it's not crowded, and also the quieter and ritzy west coast. She had rum punch and waters for everyone to enjoy in between stops. We got to try some of the local favorites like fish cakes and flying fish + lots of other things. I think this was a very good value and a nice way to spend a day and see some more of/learn about the island. We had 5 guests on the tour so it was a nice size group.

A visual and gastronomic feast! - We had a wonderful day. Alan and Shari were really attentive, accommodating and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food we ate during our stops was delectable, real local treats some of which in little hideaway eateries that you likely wouldn’t come across if you weren’t in the know. And these guys were, not just about finding the best spots but about the history and fun facts about the island. I would definitely recommend this tour but I’d say eat nothing before you head off because it’s a LOT of food. However, we took take away boxes back to our hotel and enjoyed the rest of the food in the evening. Happy days.

Cornucopia of Caribbean Culinary Joys - Sheri & Alan were absolutely awesome, genial, welcoming, very knowledgeable, professional and attentive in anticipating the needs of our group. Found some absolute culinary gems -we loved the bakery in Speightown for the most delicate, crumbly, buttery pastries and cutter rolls, Holetown for artisan chocolates and Ice creams, and Angels at Oistins for Marlin, salad, macaroni pie & rice and peas. A really excellent way to the history & geography of Barbados via sensory pleasures of smells and tastes of excellent food. Memories made, lives of child & myself enriched & stomach & soul filled. Strong strong recommends for anyone wanting a tour, make sure you keep your bellies empty beforehand, as culinary generosity and rum punches /non-alcoholic fruit punch /sodas/water kept coming. We loved it. Thanks so much.
