History and great local food. - Great tour with Paulette around Bridgetown. The food was varied and plentiful and Paulette explained the origin of the food and its present day use. She was very knowledgeable and super interesting. The history of the island was interspersed with the food history. It was a great walking tour, visiting out of the way restaurants, street vendors, and a market etc. The food was great! Highly recommend it!,

Great food and history - What a great experience! We were able to sample a lot of the local cuisine. Enjoyed that it was a combination of restaurants and food carts. My only suggestion it that by the last restaurant we were so full we couldn’t eat much. Our tour guide gave us so much history of Barbados along with the food history. We learned a lot. Highly recommend this tour to anyone

Excellent Food Tour Bridgetown with Lickrish Food Tours - We were met at the meeting point by our tour guide Janelle. She was very informative not only about the food but also the history of Bridgetown. We visited a number of sites from cafes to the Food market and bakery . Doing the tour gives an added dimension to a visit around Bridgetown bringing the culture alive through the food stops and interaction with the locals. The tour group was small which meant that you were able to spend time with the guide and ask lots of questions. This is the first food tour we have done and I would recommend that you do this one early in your visit so that you understand the foods available during your visit.

Fun, different way to tour! - Paulette told us so much about the history of Barbados, led us around Bridgetown & fed us so much food (!) most of which we probably never would have tried on our own. She took us to little neighborhood businesses that most tourists would miss and gave us a chance to try many local favorite foods. We actually had more than we could eat! Be prepared to do some walking, but there are many stops along the way. We definitely enjoyed our day with Paulette.

A home cooking locals tour - This was a nice way to spend part of our day in Bridgetown. We were in a group of 9, and it is a nice walking tour. You are going to “hole in the wall” places for the most part and getting a taste of where the locals eat for home cooking. This isn’t a true “foodies tour”, but was still really good! Your guides were so sweet and well informed. Food was tasty but be careful if you have allergies. Won’t do it again, but would recommend!

Walking Food Tour. - So we met our guide Janelle after a great ride to a square in Bridge Town. Our driver was great, and was chatty. He had a nice clean van and it was cool inside. On arrival we were met by another guide she was very nice and said we were with second group. Our guide cam along just in time. So we started with a 15 minute talk on Barbados, saying about all the influences that made the island. Was informative but bit long. We set off same time as the second group so we were on the same route/ food tour so it would mean bumping into the other group and mobbing our hosts. The food was good, large amounts . I was surprised that the vendors let the guides do everything with no help. Water was provided, overall it was a good tour. Would I do it again.... Maybe
