Santa Teresa is one of the most bucolic neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro and is close to the city center. A trip to the past visiting the historic center of Rio, Praça Mauá, Metropolitan Cathedral, Selaron Staircase, Casa França Brasil. The neighborhood of Santa Teresa houses mansions from the early 20th century. Today it is a stronghold of plastic artists, where there is the tram, dated 1897.
The Tour takes place twice a day, in the morning and in the afternoon ..
- The tour is not private, but shared, and the guide will speak in English, Spanish and Portuguese

First tour in 2024 - This trip is a must for those who enjoy history. Our tour guide Cesar did a great job of teaching us the historical importance of many buildings and areas of the city. To be fair, he did show up late but made it up by spending time with us. He even made sure that we were safely in a taxi at the end. We enjoyed this trip and highly recommend it.

What an amazing day- Thiago was great 10/10 - Thiago was my tour guide for Santa Teresa and downtown. He picked me up and I did not realise it was a private tour - BONUS!! As I had already down downtown Thiago tailored the tour to me and we spent time walking around sites I had not seen and Santa Teresa. He drove to places and then parked so we got to see everything on foot which added magic to the tour. The conversation flowed effortlessly and Thiago was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. He was forever opening the door for me and offering to take pictures of me which was great. I would recommend this tour to everyone who wants to see downtown and Santa Teresa in a more intimate setting. Thiago was such an amazing guide 10/10.
