So Fun! - Amazing guide (Mirko) who was so knowledgeable and engaging we had a great time with him. We spent six hours with him and it seemed to go by pretty fast.

Amazing Guide Tour of Bologna - On Saturday Sept 9 @ 10 AM my husband (age 80) and I (age 75) had the privilege of accompanying Fiore on a 3 hour private walking tour of Bologna, a city that she knows very well. Fiore loves Bologna -its history - its architecture - its people and she passed on her enthusiasm for all things Bologna to us. Her personal stories added depth to the historical information she passed along. Some details first: Fiore arrived early for our tour; she was fluent in English; she spoke clearly and slowly so she was very easy to understand; she happily incorporated some personal requests ( like an ATM stop) without backtracking or wasting our tour time; lastly, she recommended a wonderful restaurant where my husband and I enjoyed lunch after the tour. The tour itself was fascinating and comprehensive. We visited several of Bologna’s secrets and three of its churches, two university sites, several monuments and piazzas. Fiore’s knowledge of Bologna’s history was vast and she was just as adept at explaining the city’s buildings and their place in history. She was able to share her knowledge in easily understood capsules of information. We highly recommend touring with Fiore. It was her personality and love of Bologna that gave this tour its character. If we had more time - I would do another tour with Fiore again.

4 hrs walking tour in the historical section of the city with Antonia - We very much enjoyed the history and stories we were told by our guide Antonia. She also pointed out recommendations of what we might like to visit after our tour ended and good places to eat. We took her up on the Tratorria for dinner and it was delicious! Her English was good so evident miss anything. Thanks for the fun trip

Private 4-hours walking tour with a local - With Francesca who speaks excellent English we had a very nice, dedicated, educated young student who showed us her hometown in 4 hours. We have seen all the important sights and learned a lot. We also liked that she led us to a local snack in the market hall away from the tourist bustle. Thanks to Francesca we got a good impression of this interesting city. A very recommendable tour!

Great time in Bologna - Claudia was our guide and we thought she was lovely. Very knowledgeable as she has lived in the area all her life. Took us to many great places we would have never found. She also took us to several great food spots and recommended a restaurant for dinner that turned out to be the best dinner we have had in Italy so far. The only reason I didn’t give her 5 stars is that she speaks too softly for a guide. There were only 5 of us and we all had trouble hearing her. Her English is good but not great and the combination made her a little hard to understand at noisy locations. I highly recommend this 4 hour tour. There is so much to see in this beautiful & vibrant city.
