As the fourth biggest national park within South Africa, Pilanesberg sprawls over 55,000 hectares, providing a habitat for a vast assortment of southern Africa’s wildlife. This includes the Big 5 (elephant, rhino, leopard, buffalo, and lion) along with additional species such as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, wild dogs, crocodiles, antelopes, and approximately 300 species of birds. It offers an exhilarating opportunity to witness wildlife in their natural surroundings, guided by experienced rangers who impart their comprehensive understanding of the park’s flora and fauna throughout the safari journey.
