Your day will be visiting up to 5-6 appointment only Cellar Door vineyards and one stop will include one of Marlborough’s award winning Vineyards for an exceptional lunch & top flight tasting selection. Lunch experience is at the guests care.
Sauvignon blanc may be the dominant force in this are, but with over 15 grape varieties grown we have a wine to suit every palate.

Time permitting - A good wine starts in the vineyard, we’ll explain how vines are planted, pruned, managed and harvested.

Discover beautiful wines in beautiful locations - Excellent day with Chris driving us around the Blenheim and Renwick wineries. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the splendid wines from this region, pinot gris (Wither Hills) in particular for us although the chardonnay at St Clair, Methode Champenoise at No.1, and Gewürztraminer at Gibsons boutique winery were all delicious.

Well organised & comprehensive winery tour of the Marlborough region - We did a full day tour with Bill, our driver/guide who is delightful, informative & well organised, he did an excellent job! This comprehensive tour of Marlborough showcased a wide range of wineries without the pressure of purchasing their products. Lunch is not included but there’s plenty of options to suit all budgets. Our group of 9 was like the United Nations but we blended together beautifully. I would definitely recommend this as a must do tour to learn about the region & sample some of the exceptional wines.

Great tour - Chris picked us up 5 mins late due to roadworks but we had a text to let us know. The wineries we visited were great and not the ones we would have picked doing it ourselves. It was a great day with lost of tasting. We had lunch at St Claire winery which was really nice.( Not included in the price) I enjoyed most of the wines. We then went to a chocolate factory. Even I liked the tasting. So we had to have some. Dropped back where we started. It was a great day and we would never have done it on our own.

Brilliant wine tour - Our guide Chris was exceptional, knowledgeable and super friendly. This was one of the highlights of our visit to the Sounds. It was an absolute privilege to be on this tour, with the guide Chris, sampling the best sauvignon blanc in the world and meeting authentic and delightful New Zealanders. There were other brilliant wines to try in the six wineries - pinot noir, fizz, rose. Thank you so much Chris.

Great wine experience - We had a wonderful tour with Bill as our driver and guide. We visited six very different wineries and tasted wide range of wines, some very good, some interesting. the tour was very goo organised and Bill is experienced and friendly guide. We can recomend this tour to all wine lovers.

A fantastic tour with a fantastic guide. - From start to finish a wonderful day. We had a most marvellous guide Bill who was knowledgeable and extremely well informed. I have to say he made the day. The lunch was also a high point. The wineries had enthusiastic staff teaching us about their wines. With a superb guide, great wine and marvellous food it is a day to remember.

Relaxing and varied van tour - What a great tour with Toni! Very knowledgeable, both of the wine business and the area. Our lunch stop was full of awesome fresh local foods, and we worked in a little stop at Makana for chocolate treats! If I were to visit again, I would try to go during the week since many cellars and much of the town is closed on the weekends, and Monday can be tricky too!

Highly recommend great day out! - Whole day tour from Picton and visited five wineries. Gavin was our driver and hugely knowledgeable and affable. It was a fantastic day, only six of us and never felt hurried. Very different wineries and new grape varieties to try. Lunch at St. Clair winery was excellent

Book it! Worth it! - Bill was an amazing tour guide. Picked us up at our B&B promptly! He took us to a bubbles winery and 4 other wineries on our tour. We had lunch which was fabulous at St. Claire's. Personable and small group tour which we prefer. Loved his selection of wineries

Great relaxing day of wine tasting - Highly recommend doing a wine tour in the region as there are a lot of cellar doors to visit. Bill was a great host for the day with lots of local knowledge and a great guy we got to know over the day. We were the only 2 people for the morning with a group of 6 joining us from lunch onwards.
Relaxing day getting to try some of the regions best wines and great value for money, helped by having glorious weather. All the places we went to were all unique and no pressure to purchase wine after tastings. Lunch stop with tasting was also brilliant.
Highly recommend if you are in the region for a few nights. Make sure to have a big breakfast!
