Great time in beautiful Costa Rica! - I’m very glad that we decided to go on this tour. Hernan guided us to the Rio Celeste waterfall while discussing Costa Rica and the natural beauty we were seeing. He managed to spot and point out a few birds along the way as well. The sloth tour was very fun, and the hosts of that facility were also very friendly. Lunch was delicious and the drives were smooth going to and returning. Book through this tour and you’ll have no regrets.

This tour is the best tour we’ve ever done!! - Best tour we’ve ever done. From start to finish, a wonderful adventure! We did transportation included. Can’t say enough about how stunning this was. I think you do need to be in decent shape to get all the way to the waterfall.

Best tour ever! - This trip is one you must do. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip due to our knowledgeable and friendly guide, Hernan. He took us first to the Tenorio Volcan National Park where we embarked on a relatively easy hike to the Rio Celeste waterfall, which is worth the 252 stairs you have to go down and then back up if you want to see this beauty of a waterfall. We then went to the Bijagua Ranas experience where we saw 2 and 3 toed sloths, 3 types of monkeys, a snake, a hawk, frogs and banana trees in their natural habitat. If this wasn't enough we went to a restaurant with a butterfly habitat attached. The food was all from the local area and was delicioso. The famous blue butterflies were amazing and there were many flying all around you! A guide described to us the lifecycle of the butterfly and showed us the important aspects of the butterflies. It was the best tour we've ever taken!!!!!

Amazing Trip!! Anthony is very trustworthy and accommodating - Such and amazing trip, I can’t wait to go back. My wife and I went in November 2023 from MN. Anthony was so accommodating and helped set up so many amazing things! From the amazing epic waterfalls in Rio Celeste and La Fortuna to zipling through a rainbow in Monteverde. He went the extra mile to get us on time and safe. Anthony is honest and trustworthy!

Extraordinary Rain Forest Encounter - My daughter and I visited the blue lagoon and waterfall within the Tenorio Volcano National Park. Andre, our driver and guide, was kind and considerate. He stopped along the way so that my daughter could purchase a rain jacket. It started raining lightly as we made our way up the volcano. The hike to the view point, lagoon and waterfall took about 2 1/2 hours in total. The path starts out paved and very well groomed, then several series of steps, followed by some dirt & rock trail. I am glad I was wearing waterproof river hiking shoes. Andre pointed out several toucans high above in the trees. The water color in the lagoon and the waterfall pool is spectacular, due to the minerals. You can smell sulfur from the volcano at one point along the trail. After the hike, we stopped at Bijagua Ranas for an animal encounter, coffee and chocolate tutorial. We even cooked our own tortillas! The white faced monkeys paid us a visit, saw 2 sloths high above in the trees, more toucans and the yiguirro (national bird of Costa Rica.) Our young docent was very enthusiastic and informative - she even pointed out a sac of frog eggs on a leaf overhanging the stream. Our final stop was for lunch at El Sabor De Dona Carmen. While our delicious and authentic food was being prepared, we visited the amazing butterfly garden. We learned about all types of butterflies, including the Morpho Azul, and their life cycles. All in all, a fantastic day of exploring.

Worth the drive - The nature walk and stairs to the waterfall was very good. The sloth farm was very interesting, some sloths were quite high but we were fortunate enough to havew a young very low to the ground and were able to get great pictures. As well the monkies were very fun to watch and they did get close enough for great pictures too,
