Amazing private snorkel tour with the most knowledgeable captain... SO GOOD!!! - This was such an incredible adventure! Being on a small private boat with Captain G really is the best way to appreciate the ocean and all its animals around Kona. G is an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly guy. His understanding of how to snorkel responsibly and sustainably was what made us want to go with him and he delivered way beyond what we could ever have expected. He explained the various ocean areas, the fish and other animals there, what we could expect to see and not see and why, and he took us to the most pristine coral reefs with exceptionally clear water where there were no other people, just tons of colorful fish and sea life!! It was just incredible. His extensive understanding and knowledge of the area and the animals blew me away, and I work in Ocean Science!! I highly, highly recommend this tour if you are interested in a small, in-depth snorkel experience you definitely will not find anywhere else. Highly recommend!!

Unforgettable & Authentic Whale Watching Experience - Baby humpback whales breaching -This exceeded our expectations! Boat was perfect for seeing the whales & we were so lucky to see so many, every where we looked were whales. Captain G was awesome, chiill, knowledgeable & respectful of these amazing animals. We had never been to Hawaii during the whale season & felt so fortunate to see so many on a calm and beautiful morning. Our kids including hard-to-impress teenagers loved it as well. A wonderful experience to share as a family, thank you Captain G!

Whale watching - Great day with Captain G. Fortunate enough to see 2-3 day old calf and mother. Fantastic! And especially appreciated the sharing and knowledge of local history.

Sea turtle and Manta Ray Snorkeling - Did the four hour option tour with Captain G and had a wonderfully time with many sea turtles and large manta rays. Would highlight recommend captain g and his snorkel tour!

Best Hawaii Snorkel Trip - private - If you want to snorkel and have a great personal experience thi so the trip to take!! We were able to swim with the turtles and learn about other sea life and the area. Captian G was with us in the water making sure we knew where to look. Take your u defeated camera. We used a Go Pro. Captain G free drive down to video turtles and fish for us. I attached a picture of the turtle I took. A MUST do experience.

Super fun snorkeling - We had a fantastic time! We got to see both dolphins and turtles and hear about the legends of Hawai’i from Captain G. It was a super fun time!

Very memorable snorkel with turtles and Captain G - Captain G contacted us the night before our trip to confirm all the details. The morning of the trip he contacted us again to let us know that it was going to be windy and a bit choppy. We were given the option of the rescheduling if we wanted. Captain G was very flexible so we decided to go ahead but went an 1 1/2 hour earlier. The directions Captain G sent were very easy to follow and we found Kawaihae south harbour and Captain G was waiting for us with everything ready to go. After a thorough but quick safety briefing we were on our way and got some great information about the significance of the site in native Hawaiian history. The snorkel site was excellent, a known cleaning spot for turtles and we were lucky enough to see quite a few swimming around and coming up for air. There was also a huge variety of fish swimming around, but the turtles are obviously the main attraction. Captain G was a great guide, checking on all of us throughout and always ready to answer any questions we had. Overall it was a really memorable experience and the personal touch from Captain G made it more so. We’d highly recommend Captain G and Oceanic Patrol and if we’re lucky enough to be back here during whale season we will definitely try to book again.

Best snorkel tour I’ve taken - Private tour with captain g, really cool boat ride while he told us the mythology of Hawaii and the area we would be snorkeling. Best snorkeling I’ve ever had as captain g knew the behaviors of the marine life and how to interact with them

Excellent snorkeling experience - My husband and I took the morning tour with Captain G in late October and have been raving about it to all our friends and family. One of the best snorkel adventures we have ever had (and we snorkel on every beach vacation)!!!! We had a "National Geographic" moment that morning and saw a sea turtle munching on a jellyfish! Captain G was both very professional and made sure we were informed of all safety protocols and also a great historian sharing his knowledge of the Hawaiian culture. Highly recommend taking the tour on the Oceanic Patrol. Karen B
