• Bergen - We leave the last hotel in Bergen, the Hotel Thon Orion, at 08:30 and make our way to Voss. The journey to Voss takes about one and a half hours.

You drive along the banks of the Sørfjord and enjoy the magnificent view of the fjords and mountains. The road winds through lush forests and charming villages, but also through many tunnels.

• Vossevangen - Voss is a charming town situated between two of Norway’s largest fjords, the Sognefjord and the Hardangerfjord. You may have heard of Voss water, it is produced here. If you’re interested in American football, you’ve probably heard the name Knute Rockne. He was born in Voss.

We drive to a small shopping center, where there are toilets that we can use free of charge, as well as a cafeteria. If you feel like it, you can of course also go on a little shopping spree. We stay here for about 20 minutes.

• Tvindefossen - The Tvindefossen waterfall is offering a symphony of water cascading down 110 meters. The harmony of the falls and the surrounding nature create a truly mesmerizing scene, making it a must-see destination for any traveler. We stay here for about 20 min.
• Gudvangen - Gudvangen is a picturesque fjord village in the heart of the beautiful Nærøyfjord in Norway. Surrounded by majestic mountains and breathtaking fjord landscapes, Gudvangen is a paradise for nature lovers, located directly on the UNESCO-protected Nærøyfjord. There is a restaurant here with a glass roof, so that you have a view of the mountains from inside, which rise up to 1500 m, a very cozy cafe and a wooden bridge to the other side of the village. There is a petrol station here with a small supermarket attached. There is also access to a Viking Town, which also has a small restaurant. We stay at this place for about half an hour.
• Flam - Flåm is a charming village nestled in the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the stunning Sognefjord. The village itself is small, but the natural beauty surrounding it is truly awe-inspiring. But you will certainly be hungry now and there are plenty of options for your lunch break. The Furukroa restaurant and café is highly recommended. Just keep walking along the fjord to the right and you’ll find it at the end. In the high season there are several stalls on the small market square in Flåm. You will also find a bakery there, which also offers pizza. There is also a microbrewery there, which is definitely worth a look. If you like, you can also spend your time in a huge souvenir store and there is also a supermarket, which is usually open on Sundays. But please remember the departure time of your ferry at 3 pm. On the other hand don’t queue up too early. The ferry is very large. There is room for everyone. Make the most of your time in Flåm.
• Naeroyfjord - Prepare to be enchanted as you cruise through the majestic fjords on an electric-powered boat, offering a silent and serene journey. As you glide along the crystal-clear waters, your eyes will be drawn to the towering mountains that rise dramatically on either side, creating a dramatic and picturesque backdrop. Don’t forget to look out for the cascading waterfalls that tumble down the mountainsides, adding a touch of magic to the already breathtaking landscape. This unforgettable cruise will take you deep into the heart of Norway’s natural beauty, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.
• Gudvangen - On arrival in Gudvangen, please go directly to the bus. The driver will have told you where to park the bus. You have already spent some time here, so as soon as the ferry arrives we will head back to your temporary home town of Bergen.
• Bergen - The return journey to Bergen takes just over two hours. We will be back at your hotel around 7:30 pm. Just in time to visit a restaurant, because in some of them the kitchen closes at 9 pm. You’ve had a wonderful day :-)
