- Berat Castle - Castle of Berat is one of the biggest in Balkans and has so much to offer . Its unique because life goes on without interruption since IV century BC even now day people lives in Castle During our trip we will visit the Castle quarter’s biggest church, Church of the Dormition of St Mary (Kisha Fjetja e Shën Mërisë), is the site of the Onufri Museum. St Theodore church , close to the citadel gates; the substantial and picturesque Church of the Holy Trinity, below the upper fortress; and the little chapels of St Mary Blachernae and St Nicholas. Some of the churches date back to the 13th century. Also keep an eye out for the Red Mosque, by the southern Kala walls, which was the first in Berat and dates back to the 15th century. Visit the view point of the citadel and go inside a local family for lunch
Although the fortress is open 24 hours, all visitors have to purchase an entry ticket from the main entrance gate and the ticket booth

a stunning tour with a very professional guide - was a unique experience, the city of berat is a very beautiful city. We reserve online through Berat City Tour. The castle, its history, churches, prehistoric walls are something to be seen definitely.
The peak point was lunch in a local family. There you can feel and touch the enthusiasm of local people who have been living in the fortress for many years.
