You spend a fair amount of time in the car - but if you've been to Mumbai or Delhi, the traffic is much better in Bengalore! I like being able to drive through various parts of town to get a flavor of the city, and the time passes very quickly as you are given lots of history as you go. It's wonderful to be able to ask questions for the entire tour! Some of the places are just stop and take a picture - like Government House - but then you can always go back and spend more time. The driver was always more than happy to stop almost anywhere to take a picture of whatever caught my fancy. The walk through the gardens was wonderful - so beautiful! And again, so much information! We visited Bull Temple - and several others - all wonderful! The Sultan's Palace is quite small - the artifacts they have are fascinating, but this isn't a huge palace - so be prepared for that. The Science museum is great for kids - as an adult, you'll likely breeze through it fairly quickly - ask to go to the art museum next door - wonderful!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this day - the driver and guide alone are worth the money! I found it an excellent value.</p>

Interesting variety of places on the tour - First off,the traffic in Bangalore is bonkers, so if you're staying in Whitefield (as we were), be prepared to take a long drive to the center of the city to start your tour. We were taken to the botanical gardens, the black bull temple (fascinating), the science center (I wasn't so into that but my companion was), and driven past the new government buildings. We learned some interesting facts about each place, and appreciated the air-conditioned car. We were the only two people on the tour, so it felt. personal.
