Highlights
  • Belleek Pottery & Visitor Centre - The tour is the jewel in the crown to any visit to Belleek Pottery. A maximum of 25 guests are brought around the complete manufacturing process and get a chance to meet and chat with the craftspeople along the way. You could be asked to make a little shamrock after you see how it’s done and add a few paint marks to a vase. Not forgetting the quality control department: As there are no seconds in the company any items that fail the Pottery’s many quality checks have to be broken so you are provided with goggles so you can have a smashing time!!!!
After the tour there are many other things to see in the Centre, our self guided Museum dating back to 1857 for example, our extensive Showroom and then why not relax over a coffee served on Belleek tableware in our Tea Rooms overlooking our Rose Isle Garden on the River Erne.

Really enjoyable, great insight, excellent guide. - We had a fabulous time visiting Belleek Pottery for a tour followed by Afternoon Tea. Really enjoyable, very informative, hosted by the fantastic Steph, who was a superb guide. We were given incredible access and insight into the incredible craftsmanship that goes into creating the beautiful products. The tour was very interactive and a real effort was made to give our 8 year old daughter the most enjoyable experience. She loved it. The afternoon tea was excellent as well! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Belleek pottery under rated - Love Belleek pottery. Lovely serene atmosphere. Needed more money though! Could have spent a small fortune given half a chance.

Thank you for the fabulous guided tour around the pottery! - I took a family with young kids to the Belleek pottery as a part of my tour around Northern Ireland for them. The guided tour was very very interesting and the people who work at the factory made it special for the kids! Kids in my group were allowed not only to see the beauty of the process but also to try a few things by their wee hands! It made their day very special. Thank you to Patrick and the rest of the team. Unfortunately I don’t remember the name of our tour guide, but it’s my second visit to the pottery with my tourists and the tour guides were very nice and professional in both occasions! Thank you very much 🤗

Belleek at its Best! - Highly recommend this place to learn how pottery is made. The tour is worthwhile and there is a store to browse and buy pottery. Very interesting.

A new respect for the pottery - Watching the craftspeople creating the pieces by hand was very interesting-from molding to painting each piece!

Worth the short detour into UK off the Wild Atlantic Way - A great opportunity to see behind the scenes at this historic factory and interact with the crafts people who make this beautiful pottery.

Worth a visit - Unfortunately the tours of the factory are only open week days, so we missed out on the tour, but the staff in the visitor centre were absolutely fantastic and allowed hubby and I to view a very informative video of the making of the famous Belleek baskets. It runs for about 20 minutes. The visitor Centre was stocked with a wide range of merchandise for quality gifts. The staff can arrange for larger/fragile items to be shipped home. It is located by the beautiful River Erne.

Unwelcomed and very disappointed - Unable to tour the factory at 2.25pm as we were told the last tour had left 15 mins ago. The company website and their exterior signage both said that the last tour was at 3pm. The 'showroom lady' informed us it would not be possible to tour - despite being made aware that we had driven directly from Dublin to see the Belleek and buy a number of products that I had viewed online. 'Sorry about that!' was the response, 'you can look at a free video if you want....' I didn't drive nearly 3 hours to watch a video. Very bad form and not acceptable is my response.

Bad Coffee Shop - Visited the cafe which is open to the public without the tours. My 88 year old mother is gluten free ALL they could offer her was a lemon chocolate sponge cake when she really wanted food as we had came from Belfast. NOTHING available. No syrups for cappuccino which was just milk and coffee. I had a sort of quiche had to ask to be heated no plain salad, wasn't offered anyway. The assistant put it in the microwave then proceeded to join her friends with her headphones on....forgot! 12.40 for dried up quiche on its own and two coffees!!! Seriously if I was an oversees visitor how bad is that!! Get your act together nothing there to promote NI Tourism never be back!!!
