The Sonian Forest is located on the southeast edge of Brussels and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Forest bathing is the perfect way to appreciate it fully, and will also help you reconnect with your senses and yourself. This fantastic activity will take place in 5 steps throughout the morning and doesn’t require any special physical training or equipment, however, it does promise a wide set of benefits that involve truly connecting with nature, and making a ritual ceremony of it. Our day together will be a beautiful time spent with the trees, the birds, the wind, with ourselves, and with each other!

This forest bathing program in the Sonian Forest is appropriate for anyone wishing to deeply connect with nature through smell, touch, hearing, taste, sight, and feeling.
We are scheduled to convene at the Sonian Forest at 9 am and wrap up at 1 pm. During this period, we will participate in a five-part absorption in the forest followed by a final concluding ceremony where we will discuss our thoughts.
Forest bathing is not just a commingling of self and nature, but also a mindful exercise. As the morning progresses, we will engage in deliberate slow-paced movements and attuned attention, connecting with our senses and breath along the way. By doing so, we will rediscover equilibrium, reduce our anxiety levels, relish subtle details like the rustling of leaves, and place ourselves fully in the present moment through the sharing of our experiences within the group.
