Incredible Experience with Amanda - Spanish Tour - It was incredible to have a private tour in Spanish; our tour guide, Amanda, was great! We really enjoyed the private tour by choosing the places and time for every place of interest. We learn a lot about Chinese culture, and we definitely recommend it.

Outstanding Tour! - We have traveled all over the world and this is my 5th time back to China. I took my healthy 80-year-old father, sister, and 18 year old daughter. Peter was our tour guide and was EXCELLENT! One of the best tour guides I have ever had anywhere in China- and possibly in the world. We like tour guides that can go deep on history and be engaging. We all learned a lot and had a great time. I have studied China extensively and was delighted to have a guide that also studied history in college. He exceeded our expectations and was a delight to get to know. One of the tour operators/guides, Catherine, is well organized and can be trusted. Having been to China several times, I highly recommend you book this tour. The places you visit on this tour are of great significance and you need a good tour guide in order to understand the significance of these places in world history. They are not set-up well to navigate on your own without a guide. I’ve had friends try to do them in their own and they regretted it. This tour was money well spent- affordable and a great value. I am bringing back some friends this Fall and will book this tour again.

Very Good Tour, Will Book Again - We booked at very short noticed but Catherine was very accommodating and organise a one day itinerary in less than 24 hours. Our guide, Jenny, was wonderful and ensured we got the most out of our day. Will absolutely book with them the next time we visit Beijing.

Worth it! - We had an amazing experience with our guide, Wendy. She was very clear and easy to understand, speaks English well. I truly enjoyed her company and being with her. Without her, it’s impossible to do so much in one day, and also, to understand the history and background as well. Really worth having a guide!

A journey through the history of Beijing - Without a doubt it was a great success to book this tour, Catherine made sure that everything went according to the itinerary. We started on time, enjoying the surroundings of the summer palace, where you can easily spend the morning. then the visit to the largest square in the world and of course the forbidden city, one of the jewels of Beijing, a place full of history where many emperors lived and ruled. If you want to take care of just enjoying, I recommend you book this tour and only worry about enjoying.

Strolling through the narrow lanes of the Hutongs, I experienced the warmth and friendliness of local life, a stark contrast to the bustling city around us. The Summer Palace's lush gardens and serene lake offered a peaceful retreat, showcasing the exquisite artistry of Chinese landscape design. Throughout the tour, my knowledgeable guide, Catherine, provided insightful stories and facts, making history come alive. The delicious cuisine, from Peking duck to local street food, was a feast for the senses. This private tour not only showed me the highlights of Beijing but also allowed me to feel its pulse. It was a truly excellent and memorable adventure.

Best company and guide in China - Catherine Lu Tours was the best guide we could have! I can't imagine another one. When she found out we were from Brazil, she offered us a guide who spoke Spanish and Portuguese, and her Portuguese was perfectly fine! The guide's name is Susan and we did the Forbidden City and the Great Wall with her. Catherine Lu was always in contact with us, from Brazil until we arrived in China. We have closed tours of Zhangjiajie, Tiamein Montaun, Forbidden City and the Great Wall.

SINCERELY RECOMMENDED CHINA 🇨🇳 TOUR (No need find others) - Day 3 Tour maybe a combination package from Catherine Lu Tour too. As can't find the correct title. 🤔 Hope was cheaper quote to my wife...(Give more discount if can, next time we were to come 🤣😅😇) Wife had check all different Tour groups in China that although mostly included the main tickets entrance fee, some not at all. So that why she choose Catherine Lu Tour. Of course optional tours are up to u Onsite. Give your budget to the tour group u choose beforehand and see that you comfortable anot. 🐈 's was ok by wife then ok lor🫡🫡 Justin was the nice, caring, soft spoken, knowledgeable tour guide meeting us @ 8.30am along with again safe and mindful driver 小龙. Summer Palace 1st stop After getting the tickets by Justin, walking through the garden seems like forever. Still all in all think we did it in 1 hour. Consider less crowded but still alot for me. Got to see the highlights of the Palace. Knowledge from Justin kept the tour more interesting. Didn't go for optional tour in S.P to reserve time other stop. (Duration 1hr) Hutong Area 2nd stop As again we got heavy BF so did not eat much during lunch time. Hutong is nice and great for foodies. Sorry 😞 and Thanks 🙏 Catherine and all tour guides and drivers for accommodating my unusual meals timing. During all the private tour had noticed they didn't had lunch or just some bites in order to be professional and not to delay our planning. 🙏🙏 Just ask wife, she gave the place we wanted to go but the detail planning was Caring Catherine. After some last pictures of the bell or drum towers we meet at the pre-planned pickup by tour and head to next stop. (Duration 1hr) TianAnMen Square/Tower 3rd stop Queue for awhile to get in the TianAnMen Square, ask many questions during the wait. Worry free tour for 🎟. Took many 📸. Cross the crazy 🤪 big square and on to the next stop. (Duration 1hr) Forbidden City Last stop The Ridiculously Huge Forbidden City was a stop all MUST go. Had see for myself and learn things that although can find in the internet, still be there to feel it. (Duration 1.5hr) All in all we start at 8.30am, stopped & reach hotel about 5pm. 4 stops Duration does not include traveling time. Give and take timing was given, for day 1 we took more what we had book and yet they are still very helpful and sincere. Very pleased with the tour. Ended early to get a good rest for next day to XiAn. Domestic plane book by Catherine. Wife really Wanted to go by Speed Train but because the train 🎟 during Chinese New Year was very packed and you need to buy in person with passport. Online was declined by system which Catherine tried hard to book for us. So still happy not much distortion made to the trip and wish to give my fingers 👍👍and toe up 🦶🦶😆😆.
