Highlights
  • Temple Of Dawn (Wat Arun) - Wat Arun, locally known as Wat Chaeng, is situated on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya River. It’s one of Bangkok’s most beautiful temples and absolutely stunning when lit up at night.
  • The Grand Palace - Since the Grand Palace is closed at this time, we only make a stop outside. It is a great place to make a photo at night, because the palace area is beautifully lit up.
  • Wat Pho Thai Traditional Massage School - Wat Pho is one of the oldest temples in the Thai capital. This temple is crowded during day time but quiet and even more magical at night. It is also one of the largest temple complexes in Bangkok and has the largest collection of Buddha images in Thailand. Wat Pho maintains the title as the country’s earliest center for public education, specializing in religion, science and literature. Most of the Buddha images on display were brought to Wat Pho, by order of King Rama I, from abandoned temples in Ayutthaya and Sukhothai.
(If the temple compound is closed, we only make a photo stop).
  • Pak Khlong Talat (Flower Market) - Pak Khlong Talat is Thailand’s largest wholesale flower market and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Pak Khlong Talat means ‘market at the mouth of the canal’ in Thai. The area originally started as a floating market in the early 18th century. Later, in the 19th century, the area became a large fish market. In the 1950s the area eventually developed into the current Flower Market.
  • Giant Swing - The Giant Swing is a religious structure. It was formerly used in an old Brahmin ceremony. If you want to show a photo of Bangkok’s landmark to your friends or family, the Giant Swing or Sao Chingcha is one of the best choices! It is located in the heart of Bangkok and in front of the first rank royal temple, Wat Suthat.
  • Chinatown - Bangkok - Bangkok’s Chinatown is one of the largest Chinatowns in the world and one of the most authentic and unchanged neighborhoods in the city.

Bustling Yaowarat Road in the center of Chinatown becomes a culinary hotspot at night, with little street restaurants everywhere. The bright neon lights and huge crowds that come here to eat, drink, and wander make Chinatown very lively, and the atmosphere at night is far different than during the day.

Our tuk-tuk will drop us here and we continue by foot. It is here where we will enjoy our street-food meal!

Walking around you can find all kinds of food, from satay, pad thai, chicken in different variations, fried rice, noodles and different soups, crispy duck and curries.

And of course, no street dining experience in Chinatown would be complete without a local Thai dessert!

NOTE: Food stalls are not allowed on the street on Monday. If you join our tour on Monday, you will have a meal at another location.

A local guide will join your journey to provide insights about the city, Thai traditions, and cuisine!

Awesome fun! Ask for Siri!! - This tour was a hoot! Our guide Siri had a great sense of fun and adventure, and her knowledge of the city sites was an added bonus. We signed up for the excitement of seeing Bangkok by night and we certainly got that - but we also learned a lot from Siri. We do a lot of city tours all over the world and this one delivered tremendous value for the price, and included a boat ride that we didn’t expect as well as a simple meal. Siri took good care of us and ensured our hotel transfer arrived before she ended the tour. We never felt rushed and we had a lot of fun. Highly recommended!!

A Must Do in Bangkok - Wow! What a great tour. Our guide Pai was so kind, fun, organized and just wanted to make sure we had a good time and got a good flavor of Bangkok and Thailand. We had a wonderful sampling of Bangkok! Boat ride, TukTuk, walking through flower market, China town, street food, temples and the palace. Great value and probably one of my favorite tours. Pai is fantastic at what she does and made the experience very memorable!!! Can’t recommend this tour enough, 11 out of 10 stars!

Great Tuk Tuk Tour By Night - We were late to join the group for the 5:30pm start time. The driver was at the hotel on time to pick us up but I didn’t get to check the email sent to me of the exact pick up time. So it was on me on the miscommunication. However the company was very gracious to accommodate us. We were offered if we would like to reschedule it another day. Because we did not have enough time we were driven to a location to meet up with the group. It was a wait but nonetheless the tour guide, Pai came looking for us at the exact location we were instructed. Pai was so sweet and made sure we were comfortable with the group. It was a big group for the night but everyone was nice and understood why we were late. We only missed one stop which was not a big deal for us. We took the Tuk Tuk from that meeting point and the rest of the activities were fun. It was fun riding the TukTuk with lots of us on the street. It was like a motorcade. We did our day tour of the city prior to that so we got to see Bangkok by night which was different and wonderful with the lights. The meal was ok but enough to satisfy the stomach after a long day. Chinatown stop was great and interesting. We tried lots of street foods. The coconut pancake, Bangkok ice cream and the little crunchy pineapples were the best. I would love to have those again. Pai was a great tour guide. Very sweet and knowledgeable of Bangkok history. She sang the longest old capital name of Bangkok when we were at the Giant Swing. She took her time to take us to our hotel transfer van. This is a must tour to take to see Bangkok by night and hopefully you get Pai as your tour guide.

Informative, sweet guide and many impressions, but a bit too stressful and the price too high compared to the performance. - Nice trip all in all - we were a group of 4 ourselves and were with 2 other groups, so we were a total of 8 people on the same trip. Unfortunately the road to the Royal Palace was closed that evening so we never saw it. Never visit a massage school either. We got a boat trip of about 20 minutes on the river and we saw the big temple and got a lot of information about temples, religion and culture. Visited flower market, Bangkok City Hall across from another big temple (compensating for closed road to Royal Palace). Visited China town - or almost went through at high speed. Communication worked well with the company and we were met as agreed by the guide and picked up as ordered at the hotel by taxi. Our guide Mrs. Pai was sweet and informative. However, we experienced the whole thing going very fast - many people both at the flower market and China Town (Saturday is busy) made it a slightly stressful experience, where we just whizzed through. There was no time to stand still and digest the two places. The food - a soup was absolutely tasteless and boring, but nothing wrong. We left it, it was tasteless. Would recommend the company some better food. The guide herself chose to eat noodles, so she probably didn't care for it either. WE never saw the Michelin place - all in all we got to see something and whizzed through Bangkok city night in a Tuk Tuk, but think the price is too high compared to the content.

Misleading tour description--Not worth the time or money - I do not recommend this tour--one of the worst Viator tours we have ever taken. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped off at a train station and hour and a half early just to sit and wait. There was no tour of Chinatown--we were just dropped there. Dinner was not in Chinatown and wasn't very good. We had very little time in the Tuk Tuk which is why we took the tour in the first place. Since we started the tour so early, the first few hours of the tour were not at night at all. Our tour guide really just had her own agenda--not good. DO NOT TAKE this tour--not worth it.
