Great visit - Loved visiting the step pyramid and the surrounding area and learning more about the Old Kingdom. The whole day was great, the mosque/citadel and Memphis and it included a very tasty lunch as well as lots of information from an expert guide.

Day trip at our own pace - Mahmoud and Omar were great with our young kids and us changing around our itinerary. Greatly appreciated! Mahmoud has a cadence that helps kids pay attention when explaining history.

Memphis Sakkara Citadel and Mohamed Ali Mosque with Ahmed - The experience was amazing!! The history and culture of Egypt goes beyond words. It is a narrative that can rarely be matched. It really takes 7-14 days to encompass everything. You have to start from the Old Egyptian era to the Middle Egyptian era and end with the New Egyptian era. Unfortunately, my trip didn't cover all three eras but to have the opportunity to experience one is breathtaking. My guide Ahmed M. El Gabry was great. Very knowledge, easy to approach and ask questions, and was able to debunk some of the myths associated with the pyramids. Visiting Egypt is not for the faint-hearted. The culture will embrace you whether you want it to or not. However only a daily basis, the people are friendly and are proud of their rich culture and history. I hope to return again in the near future because I was only able to experience a 'pinch of salt' of what Egypt had to offer. If you are lucky to have Ahmed as your guide, he will accommodate you to the best of his abilities.

Tour with Emad G and Mahmoud - What a wonderful first experience of Egypt! We had a great day and felt extremely well looked after. Emad G had a fantastic knowledge of all the sites and gave us plenty of time to explore them at our own speed. If you’re feeling fit be prepared to climb 2 pyramids!!

Suqqura, Memphis and Dashure day tour - My guide Emad G and driver Sarah are exceptional guides of Egypt and the places we visited. Emad’s knowledge of the history and culture are exceptional. Salah’s driving through heavy traffic there and back to the hotel safely & efficiently. I would recommend these guides if you want a fantastic day to see Cairo and it’s history.

Great Time!! - Very knowledgeable and friendly guide, he took us to all the places we wanted to see and more. He kept us all safe and together. Sidenote: a lot of tour guides in Egypt will mislead you to places that end up being shops where you get pressured into buying things. Ahmed was the only guide we had (out of three others) who gave us the option of declining to go to these places, which was very much appreciated.
