Additional Information

The seaside trail links Konnos beach at Cape Greko park’s northern endpoint to Glyky Nero beach in Ayia Napa. This scenic 10 km pathway hugs the rugged coastline. Nestled between the lively beach resorts of Ayia Napa and Protaras, Cape Greko park serves as a tranquil haven. The route (with a section being part of Aphrodite trail) passes significant local points of interest such as the cluster of sea caves in Agia Napa, Cape Greko’s group of sea caves (referred to as Palathkia ‘ie Palaces), alongside Ammos Tou Kambouri beach, Kermia beach, Kamara tou Koraka natural arch and Agioi Anargyroi chapel (complete with its neighbouring cave). Cape Greko park is also a magnet for bird enthusiasts, particularly during the spring migration. The eastern waters generally offer serene conditions. During the warm months, sea turtles frequent the area for foraging. Historically, the Mediterranean monk seal was seen regularly, however, nowadays sightings are occasional.
