Additional Information

This seafront trail links Konnos beach at the north edge of Cape Greko park to Glyky Nero beach in Ayia Napa. This path winds its way along 10 kilometres of the rugged coastline. Cape Greko park, a quaint park nestled between the buzzing beach resorts of Ayia Napa and Protaras, serves as a significant portion of the route (portions of which follow the Aphrodite trail). The journey highlights various local attractions, including the Agia Napa sea caves, the sea caves of Cape Greko (locally known as Palathkia or ‘Palaces’), Ammos Tou Kambouri beach, Kermia beach, Kamara tou Koraka natural arc, and Agioi Anargyroi chapel with its closeby cavern. Cape Greko park is also favourable for bird enthusiasts, particularly during the spring migration period. The waters on the east side are typically very serene. During the warmer part of the year, sea turtles frequent this region for feeding. The Mediterranean monk seal used to inhabit this area in the past, but now sightings are irregular and scattered.
