Great food tour for 1st day in Avignon! - Zahra was our tour guide. She is very personable and approachable. Extremely passionate about Avignon and the Provence region. Gave so much information on where to eat (and avoiding tourist traps) , what to see outside of Avignon. Food stops were great and we got a chance to try the various products from Avignon and the region. Will return .

Don't miss this outstanding tour of both Avignon and food! - We had an incredible experience with Rénie on this food tour. First of all, the food was fantastic, with a planned progression from appetizer through lunch and desserts. Second, we learned as much about Avignon and it's history as we did about the food itself, which was an unexpected and very welcome bonus. And third, the route took us all around Avignon through streets and districts we would likely have missed. I can't thank Rénie enough for her wonderful personality and the excellent tour!

Food tour in Avignon w/a lovely guide - Our food tour was enjoyable. We visited several restaurants and stores where we tried a variety of french foods. The food was nice and we were quite full by the end. Most of all we enjoyed chatting with our tour guide, Zahra, who is a delight. She also offered us quite a bit of information about the area and pointed out some of her favorite dinner restaurants where we could later have a meal. Thanks for a great time, Zahra! We look forward to coming back to Avignon in the future.

One of the doors and walking tours. Zahra is awesome!! - We did the Food tour in Avignon with Zahra yesterday and perhaps the coldest day of the year. We were not looking forward to walking around in the windy street but Zahra changed the complete experience. She was so knowledgeable about the history, the culture, the buildings, and of course the food. Our tour included six stops, starting with olive oil, followed by bread, tea, and amazing lunch and dessert, and very traditional French restaurants that we would have never found by ourselves. These are places you will not find in blogs or books. You need to know an and that’s exactly where we were lucky to find Zahra. To top it all off to a chocolate store, which is probably the best chocolate store we have ever been to and we ended up buying way more than what we need! Overall, five star experience. Thank you, Zahra and the “do eat better” team!!
