We pride ourselves in being the biggest and most seasoned bicycle and tour rental business in the Aveiro area.
Situated in Aveiro’s most significant historic pedestrian avenue, Rua dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra nº 81, we’re just a 10-minute stroll away from the train station.
Should you need to deposit luggage, pushchairs, and so on in the shop while you enjoy a hassle-free stroll, you’re welcome to do so at no charge.
Alongside tailored services and recommendations, we provide every rental with helmets, locks, sunscreen, and a detailed free map.

We visited the touristy Aveiro, but also the most traditional, and we thought it was a fantastic visit. We will repeat the trip - We had a wonderful meal, we loved the house where we stayed and the very friendly people. We will repeat the visit, but this time in winter, for contrast.

We loved every minute - Friendly and professional service and great trekking bikes and a fantastic tour. We followed the provided route on Google Maps to Costa Nova and we loved every minute.

Best bike rental in Aveiro! - We were immediately taken with Helena’s good nature and fun personality. We rented trekking e-bikes that were in excellent mechanical condition, and a pleasure to ride for 35 miles. Helena provided us with a paper map, as well as programming a great ride into google maps on my phone. I can wholeheartedly recommend Biclaria.

Aveiro bike tour - Helene, the manager of the bike shop, selected the most comfortable bikes for our party. She also recommended specific routes to see the best parts of the village. After we returned the bikes, she even recommended a local restaurant for lunch - which was excellent.

Fabulous day! - Beautiful scenery! Went to Barra and Cost Nova and loved the Praia/beaches - Praia da Barra is the best 😎 Great exercise, mostly on a bike pathway, so very safe.

Great bike hire in a fantastic area. - Absolutely brilliant day out on our hire bikes from Biclaria. They have a great bike shop and hire centre right in the middle of Aveiro. We hired two trecking bikes for the day, great quality and very reasonable price.
The route we took round the lagoon was fantastic. Lots of it was on car free trails, and none of it was busy.
I had a puncture half way round, and the lovely owner came out with a replacement bike so we could continue our ride. We even saw flamingos!

Biking alongside Aveiro coastline - Friendly and very helpfull with map and strava app. I made an easy bike tour of 56km south of Aveiro alongside the coast. Biking is safe with most of the time bike paths. Nice beaches, rough seaside, wild nature, lakes with flamingos, beautifull houses and villages. And I had a very comfortable bike. Thx

Super bike hire Aveiro - We hired two e-bikes for 6 hours. Didn’t pre book just walked in and they were available. The guy running the shop was very helpful and had good English which was really useful Good bikes with full batteries and easy to use made our afternoon a lot of fun and we covered many kilometres without any issues.

Great bike rental - Very nice and helpful shop, responded smoothly in English once I'd said I couldn't speak Portuguese, suggested routes available on Strava app. I took a trekking bike for the day (15 Euros in March 2022), went to Costa Nova and Praia da Vagueira, back through side roads. Open 7 days/week during the summer (which seems to have started by late March!).
