Bike Ride on NZ Trail - The bike ride was fun, scenic and just challenging enough, The outfitter, R and R Adventures,, was well organized, had good equipment and offered tasty snacks, lunch and drinks. A brief visit to Owharoa Falls at the end of the trip capped the day.

R&R Ebike tour review - Great tour. Bit of a trek out of Auckland but well worth it. Gordon was very helpful and nothing was too hard. Bikes were very good quality and the food and beverages provided hit the spot. Would highly recommend.

Amazing scenery and great company - This is the second time we have done a tour with R&R, was so much fun, weather was amazing and the location is golden. Gordon is a great and very patient guide, setting each person up based on ability, making sure the bikes were perfect. Lunch and morning tea were also fab, almost needed a sleep after it, but had to ride some more. Loved it!!

Perfect ebike day - A fabulous day. Well organized. Great bikes, excellent guides with help for the e-bikes. We had a guides front and back for 4 guests. Amazing trail with bridge crossings and a long tunnel. Don’t miss swimming at the waterfall. Even the lunch was delicious. Only slight negative was the 2 hour drive, but comfortable van, easy roads, and good scenery made that fun too. When we are in Auckland again we will set up a ride with Gordon.

Put this on your bucket list. - This is a very well-organized trip and worth doing. I hadn't cycled for years and 45k the first day followed by 55k the next day seemed daunting. However, the E-Bikes are first class and Gordon is very patient and encouraging guide, making it a great experience. We did the Timber Trail and the scenery and bridges we crossed are a must see. The accommodation at Magakino hosted by Marget who is very welcoming was superb. You will be in for a treat on the Saturday, and I would recommend staying at The Blackfern Forge Lodge. This is an iconic Kiwi style retro lodge that is teeming with character and extremely warm and comfortable. Top tip, go for the food package as Nadine is a fabulous cook and you won't be disappointed or go hungry.
