Highlights
- Athens - Starting from Flat Tyres shop, we’ ll cycle on the metropolitan Athens bikelane moving to the heart of the city. Kerameikos Cemetary is the first ancient site on our way. Next up, we are going to ‘get lost’ through the Psirri district. We will get to see the Town Hall, ‘Varvakios’ the traditional and biggest food market of Athens. Through pavement streets of Athens, we ‘ll find ourselves cycling through the unique Plaka district. Reaching Syntagma Square, we will see the Greek Parliament and we will ride though the National Gardens towards our next stops, Zappeion Hall and the Panathenaic Stadium. Leaving the Kallimarmaro we’ll get ride through the Zappeion, and reach the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch. A couple of pedal spins will take us to the Museum of Acropolis located right under the sacred rock of the Parthenon. Time for a small break at the Filopappou Hill combined with a visit at Pnyka with panoramic view to Athens. Next stop, the Greek Ancient Agora and Ancient Roman Agora. We’ll ride through the open market of modern Athens in the area of Monastiraki and through the paved streets of Thiseio we will cycle back to Petralona.

Excellent Bike Tour through Athens - We had a really enjoyable bike tour with Stavros, his passion and energy is great and he is super knowledgeable regarding the city. It is run at an easy going pace as you whizz through all the various districts, stopping at many top sites. Many thanks again Stavros, would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Great way to Explore Athens - The tour was fantastic. Our guide was kind and knowledgeable about Athens. We have not biked for several years and were easily able to keep up with the tour. The bikes were well-maintained and comfortable.

Fun, educational bike tour of Athens - Stavros was a great guide! He was knowledgeable about the history of Athens and took us to some cool sites we would not have thought of to check out on our own. The route he planned out was well thought out and we were able to cover a lot during the tour.

Smaller groups for a more personalised tour - Stavros was a great guide and tailed the tour to what we wanted and what we’d already seen. Bikes were in good condition. I would recommend this bike tour over others as there are smaller group sizes so you can get a more personalised tour.

Bike Tour of Athens with Stavros from Flat Tyres Psycling Club - Stavros was a gentleman and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour of Athens with him. Excellent ride! - 3 hours in such heat but well worth the challenge. Stavros gave very good historical knowledge in his tour . Brought us thru sights not normally visited. He made sure we were all safe crossing busy streets and seemed genuinely interested in sharing his country with us. Would highly recommend his tour to friends and family.
