Stunning ! Thanks to our guide Thierry - A fabulous guide, who made us forget the bad weather thanks to his culture and his passion. Thierry explained to us the history of the Camargue, the traditions, agriculture, fauna and flora. He stopped to go meet the horses, the bulls, the pink flamingos. We were able to see the Rhône jetty in the sea, Sarah's story and so on. I hope to remember for a long time everything he explained to us Thank you Thierry, we will not forget this safari!

Jeep tour in October - Great host/driver who spoke decent English and was very warm and accommodating. As soon as the rain stopped he rolled back the roof and we stood in the back so we could see better and take photos etc. We stopped off at various points of interest and it was a worthwhile, fun experience where we learned something.

A new experience for some Australians - Our Tour guide had endless knowledge of our planned trip. He was excellent. Jeep was a bit tricky with in and out manoeuvres for we old girls to manage but it was ok. We loved learning about the beautiful Camarge Horses, the bulls but my favourite was seeing the flamingos. In all it was excellent day. Thank you Flavio

Enjoyable and informative visit. - Our driver Flavio provided a friendly and informative commentary on the Carmargue. We enjoyed the experience. We were fortunate to see a few Flamingo’s (although not very close) due to it being the wrong season. We didn’t know anything about the Camargue bull course before the trip so that was something new.

Enjoyable tour - I enjoyed the tour even though it wasn't what I expected. I thought there'd be some real 4x4 tracks and that we would see wild, not farmed, animals. That was probably ignorance on my part. I nevertheless learnt a lot about rice production and the bull industry. And we did see flamingos at three locations, which was the highlight for me. Olivier the tour guide is clearly passionate about this land and it was a pleasure to spend a morning learning new things.

Carmague experience - A very enjoyable afternoon with a young enthusiastic guide. We not only saw bulls, Carmargue horses, flamingoes but also a black stork and a black kite.

Perhaps too much driving and not enough time to enjoy - We learned a great deal about the region, the agriculture and the horse/bull industry. In the end, I would have preferred to cover less territory and have more time to enjoy interesting settings. It would have been nice to access a point where the flamingos were closer to shore. Years ago I visited smaller swamps and it was wonderful.

Disappointing. - We knew this was a jeep safari. But the seats were very uncomfortable and the jeep was crowded. I had expected to see wild horse and bulls. The only ones we saw were on farms. We did see some wild flamingos, but they were at least 200 yds. away, not nearly close enough for any decent photos. Driver could have chosen to get us closer, but she didn’t do that. Would not recommend this tour.
