Overnight trip to Tatev from Yerevan - We had a wonderful two day, one night trip with Khachatur (guide) and Karen (driver). We saw: Khor Virap, Noravank, Vorotnavank, Goris (overnight), Khndzoresk Caves, Tatev, Wings of Tatev Ropeway, Shaki Waterfall, Hin Areni wine factory. Khach is friendly and extreme knowledgeable about Armenia and regional history and culture. He helped us to understand the significance of the sites we visited and made the whole trip both interesting and fun. Karen was a great driver and we felt safe in his hands. Everything was perfectly arranged so that we could do the maximum of things without wasting time, but also not hurrying. We will definitely come back to Armenia and when we do, we will book a tour with Hyur. Thank you Khach and Karen! 🇦🇲 If you are reading this and trying to decide between a day trip and an overnight trip to Tatev, I’d definitely go with the overnight trip. It’s quite a bit of driving and honestly it would have been great to spend another night or two in the south - it’s beautiful and there are a lot of things to see.

Thanks, Khaj & Karen for a fantastic tour! - This was our 2nd tour with Hyur and it was spectacular. Khaj was our excellent guide and Karen was our amazing driver. The sights are stunning by themselves but even better with Khaj’s expert insights and interpretations. Highly recommend Hyur for any tours in Armenia.

Tatev on a foggy day - A very positive experience of an individual tour to Tatev. The office helped us adapt the program to suit us (to exclude the previously visited Khor Virap and Noravank and add the Shaki and Khndzoresk waterfalls). We couldn’t pay with a Russian card on the website, so we came up and left the prepayment physically in the office on Nalbandyan. A completely new car, everything is as comfortable as possible. The driver Vagram carefully drove the long road, told a lot of interesting things about everything around, in general he was an excellent company and guide for us 🙌Despite the not very good weather (fog and rain - not everything was seen), we had a great day. Thank you!

One of our favorite tours - beautiful monastery and breathtaking nature - This was one of our favorite tours while in Armenia!!! Arev was our tour guide (who explained in both English and Armenian for us) and Avet was our driver. They were both so friendly and made sure we had a fun and wonderful day! We loved seeing Tatev Monastery - it was a beautiful church located on a breathtaking mountain. We were amazed by this location. We were also so fascinated by the Khndzoresk Caves where people used to live and had never seen anything like it! Arev shared interesting history and facts about all our stops location, walked us through everything, and took pictures of us throughout our trip. Our lunch stop on this tour was delicious! We had tasty and filling food. FYI - there are a lot of winding roads on this trip, so make sure to take some medication if you get car sick. We HIGHLY recommend this tour - it was a long day but very worth it!

Perfect sightseeing adventure! - This was probably one of our favorite tours on our trip to Armenia! It’s quite a long one which is why we decided to take a private tour - and so glad we did because we had the best tour guide in Arev. She and our driver Avet were both wonderful company and kept us entertained on the long drives between our stops. If you are going to do just one tour in Armenia, let it be this one. I personally didn’t care much for the first stop at the winery (just not something I’m very interested in), however, the rest of the tour was just wonderful. Tatev Monastery was gorgeous - the views from that precariously placed compound were astonishing. Arev, our guide, sang a beautiful hymn in one of the chapels and the room’s acoustics made for a beautifully haunting melody. The Wings of Tatev were also quite the visual experience, gliding under the low-hanging clouds of that day seeing the winding roads leading down and up the mountain. We finally ended the day with the climb down winding wooden stairs to Khndzoresk Caves - this was a fun and unique adventure of its own, walking across the swinging bridge, and finding the small church hidden off the trails from the caves. If you’re looking to be a little more active on your visit to Armenia, go on a little sightseeing adventure, then this is definitely a tour to look into!

A Beautiful tour to Areni Wine Factory, Tatev Monastery, Wings of Tatev and Khndzoresk Caves - My family had taken the (Hin Areni Wine Factory, Tatev Monastery, Wings of Tatev Ropeway, Khndzoresk Caves) tour during the month of July, 2023. Arev (she calls herself Sunny in English) was our tour guide along with Driver Norik. Our first stop was at the Hin Winery at Areni where we were explained about the wine making process. The wine tour also included the tasting of 3 types of local wines (red, rosé, and white). Arev happily brought us some fresh plums to enjoy with the wine, following which we had a quick lunch stop at a family run restaurant. Next, we visited the Tatev Monastery after flying (exhilarating experience) via the Wings of Tatev. A really Beautiful Monastery to visit. Lastly, we enjoyed walking over the Khndzoresk Hanging bridge. Arev enthusiastically explained how people in the olden times used to live in the nearby caves. She took several family pictures of us and ensured that we were comfortable throughout the journey which lasted close to 13 hours. Furthermore, she took the initiative to explain the cultures of each of the villages we passed through alongwith pictures and videos on her personal tablet. Highly recommend this tour under the guidance of Arev and driver Norik. Full marks and kudos to Arev for her ever smiling, cheerful nature and caring nature.

Tatev monastery with Hyur Service - We were not looking forward to the very long drive from Yerevan, however, our tour guide Hayk made the trip very enjoyable. He shared interesting insights throughout. Was very friendly, energetic, accommodating, and ensured a great experience. Our driver Arayik was amazing as well as he maneuvered through the challenging hills while ensuring our safety. The car was very clean, AC was great, and cold water was provided. Would absolutely recommend for anyone who’s looking to take on this very long one day journey. Tatev monastery was amazing and well worth the drive even though we avoided it last year. Must see and feel!
