Additional Information

After departing from the hotel, we’ll commence our excursion with a visit to the cable car, which offers a broad view of Aracaju’s downtown area and the adjacent zoo. Situated within the City Park on Morro do Urubu, the cable car is enveloped by over 600,000 square meters of lush parkland that features one of the city’s last stands of the Atlantic Forest. While there is no cost to enter the park, there is a fee for the cable car that can be paid at the ticket counter.

Next, we’ll explore the Antnio Franco and Thales Ferraz Municipal Markets, linked by a pathway adorned with flowers. These venues offer insight into the heritage of local handicrafts, including textiles like embroidery and lace, as well as items made from straw and ceramic.

Following that, we’ll visit the Museu da Gente Sergipana, noted for being the premier interactive multimedia museum in the region, blending technology, innovation, and creativity.

Our journey concludes at Aruana beach, pausing at a beach shack that boasts exceptional amenities for visitors.

Beautiful beach town - Small, calm and very clean beach town. Good structure, interesting landscapes. Museum of the people of Sergipe is worth visiting. Praia do Saco is a worthwhile beach tour.

Getting to know the people of Sergipe - To get to know local culture, there is nothing more important than visiting the city's museum. The Sergipe People Museum presents the history, curiosities, customs and beliefs of the people of Sergipe, with attractions ranging from images to interactive equipment, even used at Tourism Fairs throughout Brazil. A well-done visit takes about half a day, as you can, before or after (I preferred to do it after), have a snack in the attached café, enjoying local foods.
