Concise but good overview of the city - Enjoyed the tour, good summary of Antigua, ended up on a private tour, but they said they wont cancel even if only one person books the group tour. I appreciated that, most would cancel.

A beautiful tour with coffee, jade, chocolates and architecture - Had an awesome time with tour guide Joel -- I was the only tourist for the day and he left things pretty open / gave me a few options for thing we could do, which I appreciated. He gave a great overview of the historical influences of the beautiful architecture all around. I was picked up from Guatemala City and returned there in a professional van, felt very safe as a solo female traveler with minimal Spanish. Had a great time, would recommend!

Jam packed day of everything Antigua has to offer. - Our guide Cesar was outstanding. We were able to arrange a tour morning of arrival and since it was my first time to Guatemala I wanted to get out and explore. Antigua was the perfect spot. Between the old town feeling, the coffee tasting, the rum tasting, the chocolate museum, the jade museum, and the local cuisine you couldn’t have asked for a more jam packed day! The views were breathtaking and even though the top stayed in the clouds the backdrop of the volcano was impressive! Highly recommend Cesar and I’ll be calling him for another adventure on my next trip to Guatemala.

Not a good tour of Antigua - The guide, Elida, was not at fault, but out of our group of 8, someone wanted to go to Hobbitenango, and the tour company agreed. The tour company did let me know the night before of the change, but I did not realize what it would entail. We left an hour early to account for the change, but still only had 2 hours in Antigua rather than the scheduled 4. The company did pay for the entrance of Hobbitenango, and we were there over 3 hours which my friend and I did not want to do. If I had wanted a tour to Hobbitenango, I would have booked one. The majority of our group wanted to shop or sit and eat and drink and really did not want a tour of Antigua.

Not worth it. - This excursion was not eventful. It is best to take a taxi to Antigua if you are staying in another part of Guatemala. Our tour guide was dry and we could have completed the tour by ourselves in one hour.
