Great guide! We learned a lot! - Ricardo was timely and gave good directions to our meeting location. We started at the top of the city with a great view and worked our way down, hearing many interesting facts and stories along the way. His background in geology and history was evident.

Excellent - During this walking tour you are transported back in time to learn how people lived and worked and what was important to them then and how it’s shaped the island today. Ricardo has a way of transporting you back in time and then bringing you back in a way that ties everything you learned back together. His passion for history shines through in all the interesting facts and stories, making it so easy to imagine what life was like throughout time in this city. A fantastic experience.

Wonderful and fantastic tour with little details and lots of history. Ricardo was great! - Ricardo took his time, answered all my questions. He has a history and geology background, so explained both in detail, and I love both those subjects. Took our time, had me try a local pastry, made some side stops. I love walking tours.

Thoroughly fun walking tour of Angra - This was the best tour I've taken of this island. Ricardo has a clear love for the island, the city of Angra, and the history of Portugal and he weaves it all together into a really well done, comprehensive tour. I loved all offbeat facts he has to share and I feel like I learned more about the culture and history of this country in those few hours than I did in the 2.5 years of living here. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get to know this beautiful place more.

A new perspective of Angra :)) - The city of Angra its a very picturesque place, but behind the scenes there's a lot of historical events, that Ricardo will bring to life . It was very surprising to see the city through a geologist that clearly loves history and the city that he lives in. Gentil, educated and brutally knowledgeable, Ricardo will change your perspective of the city!!! Don't miss the sweets in the end!!!!!
