Awesome half day tour - Underground Van Tour - The entire Underground Van Tour with Azores Nature Tours was amazing. James was so knowlegable, kind and considerate. Lagoa da Pata or Duck Lake was beautiful and like a fairy-tale setting. However, Algar do Carvão was the highlight for me. Walking around inside one of only two volcanoes in the world that allows visitors was definitely an experience I will never forget! Besides being overwhelmingly huge it was also so magical. The different lava, the moss, the lagoon and the beautiful spaces created a truly breathtaking adventure. I would highly recommend this tour with Azores Nature Tours when you visit Terceira Island! Thank you James!!

Highly recommend - Guide was great! They were on time, clean vehicle, and the views fabulous. We saw two underground sites and one above ground, in addition to the vistas.

Impressive walk into the volcano - I was greeted very warmly by our guide Emilia. She accompanied us in a friendly and competent manner. The tour of the volcanic crater was particularly impressive. Another highlight were the tame chickens and ducks at the lagoon.

Great way to explore volcano - Our tour of the underground volcano tubes and caves was awesome! The scenery was extraordinarily beautiful and interesting. Our guide was very informative, fun, and energetic, and helped make the whole experience outstanding. Definitely a great value, and an easy way to see the underground, and above ground volcano sites.

Wonderful experience inside a volcano! - Although just a half day tour, we had seen so much! The most interesting part was going inside a volcano. Definitely memorable! Our tour guide Amelia was very helpful and easy going. If we visit Teceria in the future, we hope Amelia can be our guide again!

Caves, fumaroles, and waterfalls! - Amelia was a fantastic guide - full of history, local info, and stories! The caves are beautiful - we took ssooo many photos! Definetly worth the money - five stars aren’t enough👍

Amelia is great! - Amelia our guide was wonderful. Spoke English well, answered all her questions, and gave us extra information. She was very patient with us and did not rush to the tour in anyway. Would do it again and recommend it.
