Wonderful tour, biking through beautiful scenery, great sites, great guide. Highly recommend. - Terrific tour. James made sure we were all comfortable and safe. Remarkable views, nice stop for some cheese testing, great scenery all the way round. High quality electric bikes made this a really pleasant and enjoyable tour. Biking offers a different perspective on the countryside and towns than either walking or driving. Highly recommend.

Wonderful way to explore Terceira! - So glad we took this e-bike tour with James! We would never have discovered the amazing vistas, small villages, exhilirating downhill routes (after impressive climbs made easy with the e-bikes), and special places James showed us on our own. Highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys cycling and wants to experience a delightful, active exploration of Terceira's beauty and culture - including the wonderful visit to the cheese factory and its unique cafe.

If you like to bike, this tour is a must - If you like to bike, this tour is a fabulous way to see a quiet part of the island. 36k, about 3 hours, with a delightful stop at the local cheese factory, James Vargas, tour guide and owner, has designed a lovely course. The first few k and the last 8 are on busier roads, but perfectly safe, while the bulk of the tour takes you on a high ridge overlooking the land, and then descends through ancient fields on roads where we saw no traffic except a tractor. It is hilly but not steep, and no problem to find the right gear for any of them with the high quality bikes he uses. Definitely our favorite expedition on the island

Great day, beautiful views. - You've already seen lots of pictures of beautiful Terceira and this bike ride is probably the best way to experience them on the island. So I provided a picture of a "Terceira Traffic Jam". We had a great time. Would recommend it to others, and would do it again.

Excellent tour of western Terceira - We had a fabulous tour of the western side of the island with James. He picked us up at our hotel in Angra, with a short (<5 min) drive to the bike shop. The bikes are in excellent condition, with easy-to-use controls for different levels of boost. We meandered along cow pastures, through small towns and along the coast. Loved the cheese tasting which was perfectly timed at about 2 hours in - we were ready for some cheese and a glass of wine. Highly recommend this ride!!

Highly recommended tour with James to the west coast! - Amazing tour! We did the 3 hour tour to the west coast. Easy access for everyone, fun facts of the island and amazing views throughout the tour. Pick up and drop off to the hotel included, and cheese tasting! We had an amazing experience. I would highly recommended it, it is a great way to see the island! Muito obrigada!

Wonderful and relaxing bike trip experience! - E-Bike Terceira West Side Tour was an extremely relaxing trip we made, while visiting this small wonderful island. We saw many happy cows during our biking trip and the scenery along the ocean west coast was beautiful. E-bike tour + James = fun! - James took my husband and I on an amazing e-bike tour through the beautiful western side of Terceira. It’s evident that he knows so much about the island and truly loves what he does. Not only was the route picturesque but it was such a fun ride. My husband is a seasoned mountain bike rider and gleefully sped down the hills, though it’s definitely doable for beginners as well. If you like exploring by bike, I highly recommend signing up. Perfect Terceira Afternoon - This bike tour was an amazing way to experience the island. You were able to really explore and take in all the beauty. James, our tour guide and the owner, was extremely personable, knowledgeable and friendly. He catered the tour to our ability, shared information along the way, and answered all our questions. We had a wonderful time and could not recommend it more!
