Sri Lankan cooking class making 10 dishes! - We had the best time cooking with Piumi! We made 10 different dishes (7 veg curries, 1 lentil dahl, 1 fresh tuna curry, and coconut sambal) all from scratch and also fresh coconut roti! 🤤 Piumi was so lovely, see explained everything very well, answered all our questions and ran the class very smoothly. Her family were all so welcoming, especially their dog Paffu 🥰

Amazing cooking cultural experience - Absolutely amazing cultural experience in real Srilanka family, Pium and Susantha and his family are very hospitable and welcoming. This is a must do class if you are in Colombo and a food lover. We cooked 10 dishes and the tastes are amazing. I learned a lot of Sri Lankan spices and local cuisine. 100% recommend!!

5 star cooking course - At the end of our holiday in Sri Lanka, we took part in a cooking class on the last day. It was simply wonderful!! We didn't supervise anything. Various Sri Lankan curries and dishes, which we then enjoyed afterwards. Everything was explained to us really well and we had a lot of fun. Piumi is a really nice woman and we had a lot of fun cooking with her. Thank you for your hospitality and we are happy to be able to prepare Sri Lankan food in Germany :). 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! If you want to take a cooking class and get an insight into the world of Sri Lankan cuisine, Piumi is the right place for you!

Great experience - great experience with super nice people in a real sri lankan home, we cooked a lot of different dishes. Its was my boyfriends birthday and our hosts even got him a small cake. You will not regret booking this.

5* authentic and fun family-run cooking class, with the most delicious dishes - My friend and I joined the dinner time cooking class and were welcomed into the lovely home of Piumi, along with the her husband and father who assisted in making the experience warming and faultless. It was a truly unforgettable evening, learning all about the different local organic vegetables and home-made spices before diving into the preparation of the authentic Sri-Lankan feast (approx 10 dishes + rice + roti). Tasting the foods as they were being prepared was a highlight for us, making us even more excited for the delicious meal that was to come. My friend is also vegan and this didn’t restrict the options at all. The experience was both fun and educational. 10/10, couldn’t recommend it or the family enough!

Great cooking class with super nice instructions - Because we enjoyed the food in Sri Lanka so much, we decided to take a cooking class at the end of our trip. And we decided on this cooking class. We were able to book the course very spontaneously, which was great. Our wish to cook vegetarian recipes was also no problem. When we arrived at the cooking class, we were given a very warm welcome and were then able to choose our favorite vegetables for our sauces from a large selection. We cooked 10 sauces in total. The cook was super nice and explained everything to us really well. We were even able to make coconut milk and grate it ourselves. The result of our course was a super delicious meal. At the end, the hostess gave us the recipes and some snapshots. An absolutely fantastic experience - I can only recommend this cooking class to everyone!

5 star tour with Piumi - Very interesting insight into Sri Lankan life and the important role food and cooking plays in daily life. Piumi is an excellent cook and teacher. I’m vegetarian and she showed me how to prepare and cook ten different vegetarian curries and the resulting lunch was delicious. Can very highly recommend this tour.

A fantastic Culinary Experience in a lovely home! - Piumi, our gracious host and instructor, made us feel right at home with her warm hospitality. She guided us through the preparation of ten Sri Lankan dishes- both veg and non veg and taught us about the various Sri Lankan spices and vegetables that were unfamiliar to us! The hands-on experience in Plum's home was both educational, fun and allowed us to experience Sri Lanka in such a unique way. The meal that followed was absolutely amazing- all 10 dishes were unique and dishes I would have never tried if it weren't for the cooking class. The Colombo Cooking Class at Piumi's home is a must-do for anyone visiting Sri Lanka.
