This isn’t your ordinary cheese sampling. It’s an enjoyable and informative event!
Your host boasts a nearly two-decade long career in the field of cheese. His journey has taken him from Switzerland to London and now to the Netherlands.
He’ll guide you to one of Europe’s premier cheese shops, where he’ll purchase a quartet of uniquely impressive cheeses for your palate. The particular cheese assortment depends on factors such as the season and his picks for the day. The cheeses are distinctive and diverge from what most tourists would typically sample in Amsterdam!
Next, you’ll set off towards a quaint artisan brewery in Westerpark, where you’ll pair the cheeses with 4 artisanally produced beers right at the site. In this venue, you’ll be educated on how each of the unique cheeses is produced and what gives them their distinct appearance, aroma, and taste. You’ll even be advised on how to select, transport, store, and serve cheese, down to the correct way of cutting it!
The total time spent walking will be one hour.
Your guide can converse in Spanish, German, and Dutch.
