Great Ride for the border show - The car arrived promptly. Driver didn’t speak English but was kind. Car was clean. We arrived with plenty of time to see the show. When the show finished, our driver was waiting with the car for our return journey.

1 week Amritsar , Chandigarh and Rishikesh - Firstly i would like to thank the proprietor of Yellow Taxi in being prompt and proper in replying to my initial enquiry. The first day being Christmas I was enjoying the driving and experience of Aman taking my family and I to the Attari border and then to the Golden Temple . Boxing Day saw the local sights . Nothing was a problem for him . Next day greeted by his Older brother Gurprit that took us to Chandigarh, collected my parents from the airport , took us to Mansa Devi , top bloke . On our way to Rishikesh . I know I am fussy , I was given to reason to complain. Highly recommend. I know sometimes reviews are not authentic, I can tell you a non resident Indian that lives in north west London and enjoys eating at Shayonna at the BAPS restaurant is giving this review should authentic it . Enjoy 😉

Super - The energy levels are off the charts!! Kudos to the BSF jawans in how they bring out the patriotism and participation of the people. The car drive to and fro was good. The driver very calm and respectful. And the car clean and in good condition.

Good service with some communication challenges - We booked this fairly last-minute, the day before, and got to see the interesting Wagah Border ceremony. Although we booked pick-up at 2:30 PM, the driver already showed up at our hotel at 2:00 PM to pick us up. As foreigners (specifying so during booking) I was a bit surprised that our driver could not speak or understand a single word of English. And my attempts to communicate via Google Translate were also unsuccessful. Nevertheless, the driver and his car were great, and to be fair, this is sold as a simple taxi service. We booked the SUV class and got a Toyota Fortuner. We arrived at the border parking at 2:55 PM. It seemed like our driver had never driven to the border before, so he had to ask other people for help. Though he clearly did his best to care for us, defend us from aggressive sellers, and helped us to sit in the restaurant until it was time to enter through the VIP lane (simply showing our non-Indian passports) and then being shown to some of the best seats in the arena closest to the border. We got to our seats at 4:10 PM and then waited until 5:10 PM when the show started. At that time, the arena was incredibly fully packed with spectators and their cheering provided a fantastic atmosphere. At 6:05 PM, the flags were lowered, and we were met by the driver at the exit, who drove us to the airport (which cost us an additional 1500 INR). There was then a bit of confusion at the airport, when the driver wanted us to also pay the amount we had already paid through our TripAdvisor booking. Though a call to his company / the organizer cleared that up. Communication problems aside, we still enjoyed this experience and would recommend it as long a you know what to expect.

Worthwhile Crazy experience - Great experience and not to be missed. Easy to get to from Amritsar and free entry. As a tourist you get sit in dedicated area. Plan to arrive 90 mins before start. Start time vary with sunset times. Simple with cab...no bags allowed...take water.
