Fun experience for all ages - My 11-year old and I had a great time making and naming our unique skrimslis! What a fun experience to start off our trip to Iceland.

So glad we made our Skrimslis! - Loved it! Alma was so warm and friendly. She offered us a coffee on arrival, which was lovely. The whole process was seamless and smooth. Icelandic Monsters! - This was such a fun, creative unique souvenir! My mom and I booked the workshop and it was nothing less than amazing. Alma is so friendly and kind and you can customize your skrimsli to fit your style! Adorable workshop right on the beach, would definitely recommend for any age!

If You Think You Won’t Be Into It, You’ll Love It Still - Alma is the sweetest woman! Her English is perfect! Her workshop is a little standalone room in the back of her house overlooking the water. It may seem like a child’s activity, but it’s just as much fun for adults! My parents (62) and I (~26) had so much fun. It was not a lot of waiting, just a lot of doing. There were so many options, but not enough to make it overwhelming! Alma will just talk to you as she zips together your creature. The view out the HUGE wall of windows in out onto the most beautiful shore. Additionally, I am asthmatic and Autistic. The workshop was great on my lungs and the perfect amount of sensory input!

Loved Our Experience! - My sisters and I made Skrimslis on our last day in Iceland. It was the perfect way to end our trip. Alma was so kind and welcoming. This is such a great family business with a great story. We have the perfect keepsake to remember our trip. I can’t recommend this experience enough! It’s a must do in Iceland.

Great workshop with a view - We made our Skrimsli "Bobby" during our honeymoon in Iceland. It was really great! The surroundings are just beautiful and we had plenty of time to choose all the pieces. A truly unique souvenir and a great workshop.

A unique must-do experience in Iceland! - After seeing a video of someone else’s experience on TikTok, my husband and I decided we HAD to come here whilst on our honeymoon. Alma was so wonderful and welcoming, very interactive and asking us questions…it made the experience very personable. The Skrimsli making was so much fun, my husband and I each made one for each other. Alma told us about her craft as we created our monsters, and how each Skrimsli is one of a kind, even noting how every single part used in the monster making will never be the same each time. You can know for sure that this business truly cares to make their craft one of a kind! The whole experience was special and we loved the one-on-one interaction. This is such a special place and I hope it continues to have success as it grows and becomes more popular! Everyone should make a Skrimsli to add to their family, we already treasure ours and will always think of Alma and Iceland when we look at them. Thank you, again, Alma! (:

One of the best things to do in Reykjavík - We did the workshop on our last evening in iceland. Alma is just one of the nicest and purest people ever and the experience was so much fun. Plus you get a great souvenir to take home with you. You can choose every single little detail of your skrimsli which is really great and gives the experience a personal touch. I recommend this to 1000%!!!
