Leaving our accommodation, we’ll journey for around 2 hours through the Taurus Mountains to reach Ağlasun. We’ll tour the majestic Pisidians’ city of Sagalassos, positioned at an elevation of 9000 feet, making it among the Roman empire’s loftiest grand cities. Present excavations have unveiled stunning colossal sculptures (not visible) and well-maintained structures like the public agora, fountains, theater, baths, heroon and temples. We’ll have lunch in Ağlasun village, then journey downwards to Antalya via the Karacaoren reservoir before returning to our accommodation.

Excellent - Mr. Bihari was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sagalassos. We were picked up at the appointed time and the company was very professional.

Excellent private tour - Sagalassos is a beautiful set of Roman ruins up the the mountains about 2 hours north of Antalya. The private tour with Omar was very well organized and informative. I would highly recommend it.

Greatest site of Antiquity...? - I normally try to travel individually but booked several trips due to short time. How lucky for me! The best travel agents I have ever used in 30 years- they do what YOU want, no selling, no gimmicks, just FANTASTIC SERVICE.
Try and get 'Leo' - a lovely guy with fantastic knowledge and a genuine desire to help you enjoy the day. I will remember him - and Salagassos / Trmesson - forever - two of the greatest days in my adult life. Impossible to describe - they have to be experienced. Trust me - I have seen Jerash, Baalbeck etc - but these 2 places put them in the shade. If you love ancient Greek / Roman sites, the go to those places and you will remember them forever.

Great Tour in Sagalassos antique city - My husband and I booked a private tour to Sagalassos, the ancient Greek, than Roman town.
Though the site is still being reconstructed, it was one of the best trips I have ever been to, in this category. The site is amazing, and the whole reconstruction brings you back in time, centuries ago. Great site to visit, and great tour.
The two persons in charge of the tour (one driver, one guide) were friendly and helpful. We had lunch in a traditional Turkish restaurant on our way back to Antalya, the dishes were simple and delicious, made of fresh ingredients.
I do recommend the trip.
