Take the tour 🙂 - This is a full day tour but well worth it. Our driver and guide was Biggy and he was friendly, knowledgeable and tried to please all day. He clearly loves his home town and surrounding area. We really are glad we did this tour with Imagine Iceland

Great scenery! - Great tour with fantastic stops. Tour guide lacked enthusiasm and knowledge compared to other tours we took in Iceland.

Fantastic view of waterfalls - The views of the waterfall are fantastic though the weather is poor and rainy. Maybe a lunch stop should be provided.

Amazing experience and I’d do it again - We were picked up at our hotel at the time previously fixed. The guide thought about bringing us to the store to buy lunch which was very important since there are no place to buy food during the tour. The places were awesome and the guide amazing. He told us many stories about the places including some personal experiences. The group was not too big so that was very confortable in the bus.

Informative and fun guide. - Our tour guide was full of interesting facts about Iceland and was friendly and interactive. I liked being able to get out and walk on trails to see the sites. He showed us things that we would not have known about like the puffins on a cliff if we had travelled by ourselves. We had a good time and would recommend this trip to others.

Fabulous tour of the Diamond Circle - Our tour guide, Thor, made this an outstanding trip. He is an Icelander and his family history is amazing and covered several places during the tour. SO interesting. We saw Lava pillars and fields, Lake Myvatn, Godafoss falls - caught in a mini ice and snow storm there! We then booked with Thor the Northern Lights tour and it was also excellent. We were so glad that Thor ran both tours. He made a huge effort to find northern lights sighting for us - terrific! Highly recommend.

North Iceland “must visits” in one trip - It was a lovely day seeing waterfalls, lunar looking landscapes, and some hot springs. Hands off to Armann who was our kind and funny tour guide. I’ve been around the world and have taken tons of tours. That was the most silent and awkward group of people I have EVER traveled with. That made the ride take forever, and I felt bad for Armann who was trying so hard to get dialogue going. Highly recommend this tour though! :)

Worth every Kronur - I had booked this tour in advance of our trip. Our hotel in Akureyre said we could do this tour ourselves. We may have seen a few of the sights on our own, but we would have missed learning much of the Iceland culture, history, some unusual sights and our tour guide Pietur. Pietur made us feel like friends. He went out of his way to show us some unusual sights that were not on the program such as a shower head that has been running on its own for over 20 years. He saw us purchase some post cards of Puffins. And later showed us some puffins on a hillside near Husavik. It was magnificent. He shared his knowledge of Iceland and his experiences. We saw all the sights and learned so much more because of Pietur. It was a full day and we could not have enjoyed it more. We would have missed so much if we tried to do this on our own. We were sad at the end as we will miss our guide and friend Pietur. Thanks so much for a wonderful day.

Great guide and nice spots - The van picked us up at the hotel and we started our trip going do godafoss waterfalls; rifht after we went to the geothermal area near mivatn and we did sightseeing at the lake (its good for bird watching too). Detifoss was worth the price and after going to the canyon and a small tourist center (with a museum and a small cafe) we stopped near to the sea to watch puffins and fulmars. You can either choose to bath in the hot springs at Husavik or not. The tour lasted an entire day and we even stopped at a supermarket to take sandwiches (so if you forget your meal it's ok). I recommend it a lot for birdwatching and sightseeing.

Excellent tour to explore Northern Ireland in a brief time - Arman was a great driver, was able to share a lot of information about the area. The sites were spectacular and not to be missed. We had a wonderful spacious vehicle and everything was smooth on the trip.
