Highlight of the trip! - This tour was the highlight of my Australia travels and the perfect way to end my trip! We got to see all the key sites that I wanted to see, my favourite places being Coober Pedy and Uluru/Kata Tjuṯa, and learn about the places whilst placing a key importance on being respectful to the Aboriginal cultures. The majority of the group were also solo travellers which was really nice. Everyone made an effort from the beginning to be friendly, and it was a great group to be able to share these once-in-a-lifetime memories with. Our tour guides Gary and Iluka were fab and made sure we felt very looked after, but also got involved and added to the fun of the group. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore this part of Australia :)

Amazing trip - The trip was awesome. The scenery was beautiful, especially kings canyon and Uluru. The tour guides Gary and Iluka are amazing. Thay took care of us very well. We had a great time, and this is the most interesting tour I’ve ever joined.

This is the real australia! - A totally unforgettable and awesome experience! From beginning to end, it was a delight to engage with this company - they made me feel like a valued person during the booking process. This trip literally was an epic journey across the land, but an emotional journey as well, being able to see parts of Australia that are unique in their own right. Brendan and Emily were outstanding guides throughout: funny, knowledgeable, engaging, easy-going yet at the same time well-organized. Participating in setting up camp, loading and unloading the bus and in meal prep made it seem like we were one big family. And of course, the destinations themselves were amazing - King's Canyon, Kata Tjuta and Uluru - with plenty of other interesting things to see along the way. One piece of advice ... for those who find the heat, sun, or flies especially difficult to tolerate, try timing your trip to minimize those aspects. Otherwise, I can only highly recommend this tour ... it's the best one I have done!

Best tour in Australia! The tourguides, activities and environments are all the best I've ever had. - First of all, I'd like to say that there's absolutely nothing that could've made this trip better. A big round of applause for Dan and Emily who were my tourguides for this trip. Dan's knowledge about all the plants, rocks animals and cultural experiences blew me away. As smart as he is, he's also very funny and is a very social guide and always a good laugh for the whole group. Emily's experience for her age is very impressive and I'm very lucky to have had both on my tour. All the days were filled with loads of activities and I'm impressed with the quality of the activities even earlier in the tour. The Flinders Ranges blew me away and was a very good start for this trip. Cooker Pedy has such an unique vibe to it and was well worth the time. And of course the last part of the tour: Kings Canyon, Kata Tjuta and Uluru were beyond gorgeous. I recommend this trip to literally anyone and it's well worth the money.

A dream coming true, with an amazing tour (guide and group). Highly recommended for those who want to see the outback! - This tour was truly amazing and actually exceeded my expectations in so many ways! Seeing the various natures of the outback, sleeping under the stars, the most stunning sunrises and -sets in different places, learning about the various indigenous communities in the outback, holding a baby kangaroo (!!), and so many more things I could say. Most people in the group felt like family after only 8 days and our tour guide Joseph (Joe) was absolutely fantastic. Made us feel safe, we shared a lot of laughs, had a lot of (fun) facts about the places we crossed, took us on amazing hikes, and handled unexpected situations very well. Also the food quality was above expectations and really good catering for coeliacs like myself and other allergies/ dietary preferences (our group had 2 coeliacs, four vegetarians, a vegan, one nut allergy and one shellfish allergy, and everything went well and everyone had delicious food). Also, we had a very long drive (16 hours instead of 2.5 hours) on day 4 due to road closures because of heavy (unexpected) rainfall, but both Joe and the group only saw the positive side of that (now we got to see even more of SA ;)), which really heightened the group spirit. Too bad we had some passengers in the group that really did not know that they signed up for a camping trip (or even read the itinerary/ inclusions/ exclusions at all), where you sleep in REAL swags, help the guide with preparing the meals and the cleanups after, and not always have the possibility to charge your phone without a powerbank. Also, some did not quite understand that you have to have some kind of fitness level, as there are hikes for up to 10K that are real bush hikes, where you have to carry up to 3L of water and get up early (4AM) to not be walking in the extreme heat of the day. It affected the experience of the rest of the group in some way, but I think our tour guide handled the situations with these high maintenance people very well. Conclusion: this trip is 10/10 recommended if you want to see and learn a lot of the outback of Australia and get to know the culture, enjoy some basic camping and hikes up to 10K in the bushes, are willing to roll up your sleeves, and don't mind long drives and shorter nights. Also a recommendation: carefully read all the information that is presented on the website ;).

Review with advice - Having always dreamed about exploring Australia I had high hopes and expectations and I received more than I could have expected. The beauty of Australia and its nature seen from hiking trails and lookouts, sleeping under the stars, sunrises and sunsets in stunning places were so rewarding. Moreover I appreciated the knowledge about nature and indigenous communities shared by our guide Joe. The unexpected highlight were the meals, I genuinely thought that with so many places to be seen and things to be done we will grab something on the go, but the food was so good even though we had quite many people with dietary restrictions. I think that we were lucky with our guide, he made me feel safe in the wild and have fan at the same time. The adventure trips are definitely my thing. And here comes my advice, you should read carefully the trip description and before coming you should prepare your self accordingly. Our guide had to spend a lot of time with 2 high maintenance passengers that probably hadn't read what the trip entailed. I hope that they had a good time as well, but they weren’t fit and prepared for the trip and it showed all the time influencing experience of the rest of the group. Don’t get me wrong the trip wasn’t that demanding and you need be able to hike for 2-3 hours a day carrying your water on easy to moderate trails. Just if you rather see your self in 5* resort than preparing shared meal by the trailer than consider if this experience is for you 😉. For me I’m already planing to come back to Australia and having another adventure trip in other part of the country.

Best tour ever - This was the first tour I have ever booked. I was a little nervous that everyone might be a bit young! Had a phone call from Brendan the day before to confirm pick up times and reassured me about the age group. Picked up early from accomadation. Very friendly. Every day was different and an adventure. The iterninery was flexible. We did everything listed but also some extra activities as time allowed. There was some free time on the trip if needed but Brandan and michael also made sure that as a solo traveller you were not alone unless you wanted to be. Each day was explained and the stories they relayed to us were amazing. There was so much I learnt about geology, native stories and customs. Food was excellent. Hiking also very good and again some optional extras. If there is a negative then more lightning needed for cooking and eating. Also if people go out drinking maybe a little more consideration for those of us already sleeping by keeping the noise down although this was rare as most of the group.went together I got to see wild dingos and emus, kangaroos and wallaby. This is a great tour and I am so glad I did it. Met some wonderful people who I will never forget. Will be booking my next tour with untamed escapes. BEST TOUR EVER. HAPPY DAYS

Best tour ever - Wauw, I can write a whole book about this adventure. But I’m not the story teller here. I will leave that to Michael and Brendan. I looooved their story’s and knowledge about all the beautiful things we’ve seen. And the sense of humor, if they weren’t such great cooks than I probably would have a sixpack by now. Sleeping in a swag was such an experience! (If we forget about the ants and a dingo peeing on my freaking backpack) so far this is the most adventurous thing I’ve done in my life and I absolutely LOVED IT! Thanks Brendan and Michael, for everything.
